Timing of holidays. Subject to negotiations with the employees, the enterprise deter- mines when holidays should be taken.
Timing of holidays i. Each Employee shall negotiate leave plans in an appropriate time frame with his/her manager and advice Payroll in advance before taking holidays.
ii. The Employee’s wishes concerning the timing of holidays will be met as far as possible, subject to the Employer’s need to meet the operational requirements of the Institute, and fairness in relation to other Employees.
iii. The Employee may be required to take or to anticipate holidays during the Christmas periods when the operations or part of the operations of the Institute are suspended.
iv. In the event that a holiday timetable is not submitted, or an agreement reached on timing of leave, the employer may with 14 days notice direct the employee to take holidays at a time convenient to the employer.
v. The Employer and the Employee may agree to vary the holiday timetable as originally submitted.
Timing of holidays i) Holiday during the engagement shall be taken at a date set by the Manager.
ii) Holiday taken during the engagement must be a block of at least 7 consecutive days, even if the holiday entitlement accrued by the Company Member is less than 6 days.
iii) Notice of holiday dates should be given by the Manager at the time the contract with the Company Member is made. If this is not possible, the Manager should give the Company Member at least two weeks’ notice of holiday to be taken during the engagement.
Timing of holidays. After negotiation with the employees, the enterprise shall determine when holidays should be taken.
