Tool Allowance - Tradespersons and Apprentices. (i) Except as provided elsewhere in this sub-paragraph tradespersons shall be paid an allowance of $12.40 per week for supplying and maintaining tools ordinarily required in the performance of their work as tradespersons.

Tool Allowance - Tradespersons and Apprentices. Where the Employer requires a tradesperson or an apprentice tradesperson to supply and maintain tools ordinarily required by the Employee in the performance of their duties as a tradesperson, the Employee shall be paid a weekly allowance.. Tool Allowance rates will be paid in accordance with the Local Government Industry Award 2010. This provision will not apply where the Employer provides the tradesperson or apprentice with the required tools or while Employees are absent from work.
