Tools/Tool Allowance. A. Basic Policy-Initial Outfitting 1. The City will provide outfitting of tools and tool boxes to employees except as detailed below. a. Employees in the following job classifications must provide and maintain the outfitting of tools and tool boxes at their own expense: Body and Fender Mechanic Xxxxxxxxx Apprentice - Fleet Technician Apprentice- Marine Mechanic Apprentice - Body and Fender Mechanic Apprentice - Xxxxxxxxx 2. Current employees may elect to continue with City provided tools or to provide their own tools. New employees must provide their own tools. Outfitting is defined as those tools required by the employee upon being employed in the particular job class for the first time, and subsequently, additional tools required because of technological advances.

Tools/Tool Allowance. During the month of January, for each year of this Agreement, the EMPLOYER shall pay a total tool allowance of $125 to each Park Ranger I who has been compensated by the EMPLOYER for employment for a full year. During the month of January, for each year of this Agreement, the EMPLOYER shall pay $300 to each Park Ranger II who has been compensated by the EMPLOYER for a full year. For employees who are compensated by the EMPLOYER for employment for less than a full year, the tool allowance shall be prorated on a one-twelfth (1/12) basis for each full month the employee is compensated. An employee will not be considered to have been compensated for employment for any month in which he/she received worker's compensation payments. Park Ranger II: Stolen tools of comparable value will be replaced by the EMPLOYER if those tools were in a locked tool box, within a locked building. Further, tool replacement is contingent upon a police report being filed which verifies that a larceny took place.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.

  • Aid Allowance An employee who has been appointed by the Employer and trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. Xxxx's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid weekly an allowance as detailed in Appendix A. The Employer will always appoint the appropriate number of First Aid Officers as required by relevant legislation and Code of Practice.

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.

  • Vehicle Allowance Vehicle allowances for all distances travelled while on employer business shall be paid to employees required to use their own vehicles in the performance of their duties. This does not include travel to and from work. Vehicle allowance shall be 40¢ per kilometre. Vehicles driven on employer business will be in compliance with ICBC Regulations.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Annual Allowance The Corporation shall pay to the Executive, in cash, in a lump sum, on the Payment Date an amount equal to two times the annual allowance to which the Executive is entitled as of the date of the Date of Termination (or, if higher, as of immediately prior to the Effective Date).

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Site Allowance All new construction and extension/refurbishment work having a project value in excess of $2.0m will attract the then current City of Melbourne Site Allowance.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.
