Trade Committee. 1. The Parties hereby establish a Trade Committee. This Committee shall comprise representatives of the EU Party and representatives of each signatory Andean Country.
2. The Trade Committee shall meet at least once a year at the level of Ministers or the representatives that such level may designate. In addition, upon written request of a Party, the Trade Committee may meet at any time at the level of senior officials designated to take the necessary decisions.
3. The Trade Committee shall meet on a rotational basis, in Bogota, Brussels and Lima, unless the Parties agree otherwise. The Trade Committee shall be chaired by each Party for a period of one year, on a rotational basis.
4. Without prejudice to paragraph 1, the Trade Committee may meet in sessions where the EU Party and one signatory Andean Country participate, regarding matters which:
(a) relate exclusively to the bilateral relationship between the EU Party and such signatory Andean Country; or
(b) have been discussed in a session within a "specialised body" in which only the EU Party and one signatory Andean Country have participated, and that matter has been referred to the Trade Committee. If another signatory Andean Country expresses interest in the matter to be discussed in such session, it may participate in the session subject to prior agreement of the EU Party and the signatory Andean Country concerned.
Trade Committee. 1. A Trade Committee is hereby established that is composed of representatives of the Parties.
2. The Trade Committee shall establish its rules of procedures and be co-chaired by a representative of the EC Party and a representative from the Pacific States. The two co-chairs shall alternate in presiding the meetings. Whoever is presiding a meeting shall be considered "presiding co-chair" for the purposes of this Agreement until the moment in time when the next meeting commences and the role of a presiding co- chair shall be assumed by the other Party.
3. The Trade Committee shall deal with all matters necessary for the implementation of this Agreement.
4. In the performance of its functions, the Trade Committee may:
(a) set up and oversee any special committees or bodies necessary for the implementation of this Agreement;
(b) the Trade Committee will delegate specific implementing decision-making powers to the special committees as provided for in the relevant provisions of the Agreement, in particular the Special Committee on Customs Cooperation and Rules of Origin;
(c) meet at any time agreed by the Parties;
(d) consider any issues under this Agreement and take appropriate action in the exercise of its functions; and
(e) take decisions or make recommendations in cases provided for in this Agreement.

The Trade Committee shall be co-chaired by the Minister for Trade of Korea and the Member of the European Commission responsible for Trade, or their respective designees. 3. The Trade Committee shall:
(a) ensure the proper operation of this Agreement;
(b) supervise and facilitate the implementation and application of this Agreement, and further its general aims;
(c) supervise and coordinate the work of all specialised committees, working groups and other bodies established under this Agreement, recommend to those bodies any necessary action, and evaluate and adopt decisions, where provided for in this Agreement, regarding any subject matter referred to it by those bodies;
(d) consider ways to further enhance trade and investment relations between the Parties;
(e) without prejudice to Chapter 15 (Dispute Settlement), seek to solve problems which might arise in areas covered by this Agreement, or resolve disputes that may arise regarding the interpretation or application of this Agreement; and
(f) consider any other matter of interest relating to areas covered by this Agreement.
4. The Trade Committee may, in accordance with the relevant provisions of this Agreement:
(a) decide to establish specialised committees, working groups or other bodies, to allocate responsibilities to them in order to assist it in the performance of its tasks, and to dissolve them. The Trade Committee shall determine the composition, remit and tasks of the specialised committees, working groups or other bodies it establishes;
(b) communicate on issues falling under the scope of this Agreement with all interested parties, including the private sector, social partners, and civil society organisations;
(c) consider and recommend to the Parties amendments to this Agreement or, in cases specifically provided for in this Agreement, amend, by decision, provisions of this Agreement;
(d) adopt interpretations of the provisions of this Agreement, which shall be binding on the Parties and all bodies set up under this Agreement, including arbitr...

The Trade Committee shall be co-chaired by the Minister for Trade and Industry of Singapore and the Member of the European Commission responsible for Trade, or their respective delegates. The Trade Committee shall agree on its meeting schedule and set its agenda.
3. The Trade Committee shall:
(a) ensure that this Agreement operates properly;
(b) supervise and facilitate the implementation and application of this Agreement, and further its general aims;
(c) supervise the work of all specialised committees, working groups and other bodies established under this Agreement;
(d) consider ways to further enhance trade relations between the Parties;
(e) without prejudice to Chapter Fourteen (Dispute Settlement) and Chapter Fifteen (Mediation Mechanism), seek to solve problems which might arise in areas covered by this Agreement, or resolve disputes that may arise regarding the interpretation or application of this Agreement; and
(f) consider any other matter of interest relating to an area covered by this Agreement.
4. The Trade Committee may:
(a) decide to establish or dissolve specialised committees, or allocate responsibilities to them, except that powers granted to specialised committees to adopt legally binding decisions or adopt amendments can only be modified pursuant to the procedure for amendments set out in Article 16.5 (Amendments);
(b) communicate with all interested parties including private sector and civil society organisations;
(c) consider amendments to this Agreement or amend provisions of this Agreement in cases specifically provided for in this Agreement;
(d) adopt interpretations of the provisions of this Agreement, which shall be binding on the Parties and all bodies set up under this Agreement, including arbitration panels referred to under Chapter Fourteen (Dispute Settlement);
(e) adopt decisions or make recommendations as envisaged by this Agreement;
(f) adopt its own rules of procedure; and
(g) take any other action in the exercise of its functions as the Parties may agree.
5. The Trade Committee shall inform the Joint Committee set up under the PCA on its activities and those of its specialised committees, as relevant, at regular meetings of the Joint Committee.

Each Party may refer to the Trade Committee any issue relating to the implementation, application and interpretation of this Agreement.
2. The Trade Committee shall meet no later than six months after the date of entry into force of this Agreement. Thereafter, the Trade Committee shall meet on an annual basis, unless otherwise agreed by the representatives of the Parties, or without undue delay at the request of either Party.
3. The meetings of the Trade Committee shall take place in Brussels or Wellington alternately, unless otherwise agreed by the representatives of the Parties. The Trade Committee may meet in person or by other appropriate means of communication, as agreed by the representatives of the Parties.
4. The Trade Committee shall be co-chaired by the New Zealand Minister responsible for trade and the Member of the European Commission responsible for trade, or their respective designees.
