Training Environment. The Massachusetts Maritime Academy is committed to training undergraduates in a para-military and military environment in conformity with the Merchant Marine Training Regulations for the time being in effect. Certain unit members employed at the Academy, being customarily called officers and having certain ranks styled on a model of military ranks, shall become a part of this military environment by wearing the uniforms prescribed by the Board of Trustees, by upholding the military code of conduct prescribed for cadets, and by adhering to the precepts and examples required of officers in a military environment. Certain members of the bargaining unit, as determined by the President in his sole discretion, employed at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy are therefore, required to:

Training Environment. The services required hereunder shall be performed in one of the following specific instructional environments (these training environments are provided and maintained by the Government):  Legacy Environment (Group-Paced, Instructor-Led). This is traditional classroom didactic instruction in a Navy resident schoolhouse environment. The contractor shall provide on-site instructors to teach the course.  Legacy Lab Environment (Group-Paced, Instructor-Led). This includes Group-paced dynamic instruction in a Navy schoolhouse environment. The contractor shall provide on- site instruction/facilitation.
Training Environment. Xxxxxxxx Software shall be obligated to provide BANKBERATUNG with the necessary FS software. Xxxxxxxx Software shall pay the cost of providing it. BANKBERATUNG shall be obligated to provide the hardware and software for the server and clients (exclusive of FS software), keep the training database updated, and to take care of technical service for the training environment. The costs for this shall be paid by BANKBERATUNG.
Training Environment. If training is being conducted at the CLIENT’s site, the CLIENT is responsible for providing a productive environment to conduct training. COMPANY is not responsible for its inability to conduct training or for inadequate training arising due to interruptions and/or unavailability of CLIENT personnel to be trained. Time spent on-site by COMPANY that results in non-productive training time beyond COMPANY's control will be billed as training time. COMPANY will make reasonable efforts to schedule training on dates requested by the CLIENT. Trainers will be on- site approximately noon Monday through noon Friday. This allows appropriate travel time to and from the CLIENT’s site.

  • O.S.H.A. and Environmental Compliance (a) Each Borrower has duly complied with, and its facilities, business, assets, property, leaseholds, Real Property and Equipment are in compliance in all material respects with, the provisions of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Environmental Protection Act, RCRA and all other Environmental Laws; there have been no outstanding citations, notices or orders of non-compliance issued to any Borrower or relating to its business, assets, property, leaseholds or Equipment under any such laws, rules or regulations.

  • Environment 1. Recognising the right of each Contracting Party to establish its own levels of domestic environmental protection and environmental development policies and priorities, and to adopt or modify accordingly its environmental legislation, each Contracting Party shall strive to ensure that its legislation provide for high levels of environmental protection and shall strive to continue to improve this legislation.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety i. Environment, Health and Safety Performance. Seller acknowledges and accepts full and sole responsibility to maintain an environment, health and safety management system ("EMS") appropriate for its business throughout the performance of this Contract. Buyer expects that Seller’s EMS shall promote health and safety, environmental stewardship, and pollution prevention by appropriate source reduction strategies. Seller shall convey the requirement of this clause to its suppliers. Seller shall not deliver goods that contain asbestos mineral fibers.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Matters (a) The Company has complied and is in compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety Requirements.

  • Contractor Responsibilities 19.1. Contractor shall perform national criminal history checks for Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, and 10-panel drug screening tests on all prospective employees performing work under this RFP or coming onto a CMHA property and any resulting contract and provide summaries of the results to the Authority if requested. For the purposes of this section, the term “employees” includes contractor. Prospective employees whose criminal background check discloses a misdemeanor or felony involving crimes of moral turpitude, sexual offenses or harm to persons or property shall not be employed to perform work under this RFP or any resulting contract. Contractor is required to perform drug screening of all employees and to ensure acceptable test results. Criminal history and drug screening checks will be completed at the sole expense of the contractor. Any employee of the Contractor suspected of being under the influence of drugs and or alcohol will be reported to the appropriate personnel at CMHA and/or other local law enforcement. If the employee is determined to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol in any form or manner, or believed by proper authority to be dealing in illicit sale of alcohol or drugs they will be removed and shall not be allowed to return to any job site on the Authority’s property. The Contractor’s contract may be suspended and/or terminated should such a situation occur or if the Contractor fails to submit results pursuant to this section.

  • Periodic Review of Costs of Environmental Compliance In the ordinary course of its business, the Company conducts a periodic review of the effect of Environmental Laws on the business, operations and properties of the Company and its subsidiaries, in the course of which it identifies and evaluates associated costs and liabilities (including, without limitation, any capital or operating expenditures required for clean-up, closure of properties or compliance with Environmental Laws or any permit, license or approval, any related constraints on operating activities and any potential liabilities to third parties). On the basis of such review and the amount of its established reserves, the Company has reasonably concluded that such associated costs and liabilities would not, individually or in the aggregate, result in a Material Adverse Change.

  • Materials of Environmental Concern have not been transported or disposed of from the Properties in violation of, or in a manner or to a location that could give rise to liability under, any Environmental Law, nor have any Materials of Environmental Concern been generated, treated, stored or disposed of at, on or under any of the Properties in violation of, or in a manner that could give rise to liability under, any applicable Environmental Law;

  • Maintenance Training 16.8.1 The Seller will provide maintenance training for the Buyer’s ground personnel as further set forth in Appendix A to this Clause 16. The available courses will be as listed in the Seller’s Customer Services Catalog current at the time of the course. The practical training provided in the frame of maintenance training will be performed on the training devices in use in the Seller’s Training Centers.

  • Site Lands or areas indicated in the Contract Documents as being furnished by the Owner upon which the Work is to be performed, including rights-of-way and easements for access thereto, and such other lands furnished by the Owner that are designated for the use of the Contractor. Also referred to as Project Site, Job Site and Premises.
