Training whilst on leave. An Engineer Officer may be required to attend Company business and/or training, including the Automation, Electronics and Electrical Course (AEE) for up to four days and the Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) for up to one day, in each anniversary year whilst on leave. Any other courses that are obligatory or required by legislation shall not be undertaken under this sub-clause, however the Company reserves its right to discuss other training courses to be undertaken under this provision. Where the Company seeks to apply this provision to other courses it shall discuss this with AIMPE and the member concerned and reach agreement. The four days is inclusive of travel and the Engineer Officer does not receive payment. Expenses reasonably and actually incurred will be reimbursed by the Company. If not used in any year the training days can accumulate from year to year up to a maximum of three years accumulation.

Training whilst on leave. An Employee may be required to attend business briefings and/or training courses. These days will be treated as dead days. If an Employee is required by ASPSM to undertake a course in order to maintain their employment, then ASPSM will pay course costs and reasonable travelling (including travel to/from such courses/briefings reimbursed upon the production of receipts), accommodation, and victualling expenses including AMSA costs associated with attending the course.

  • Annual Paid Sick Leave Fifteen (15) days sick leave per year shall be earned by an employee at the rate of 1.25 days for every month that an employee is employed.

  • Overtime Meal Employees requested to work more than two (2) hours overtime after completion of their regular shift, will be given one-half (1/2) hour on Company time to eat their lunch and will be given seven dollars ($7.00) meal money.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling Within Vacation Schedule If a paid holiday falls on or is observed during an employee's vacation period, he/she shall be allowed an additional vacation day with pay at a time mutually agreed upon by the Employer and employee.

  • Annual Leave (a) An employee may elect with the consent of the employer, subject to the Annual Xxxxxxxx Xxx 0000, to take annual leave not exceeding five days in single day periods or part thereof, in any calendar year at a time or times agreed by the parties.

  • Overtime Meals When employees are required to work more than two (2) hours beyond their regular work days, the Employer will provide hot meals at no cost to the employees, up to a maximum of sixteen dollars ($16.00) (receipts to be submitted) plus paid meal periods of one-half (1/2) hour at the prevailing rate and thereafter at four (4) hour intervals. Any early morning start before regular starting time is entitled to a paid meal. The breakfast limit is thirteen dollars ($13.00) (receipts to be submitted). Employees called out on overtime shall be paid for meals as above, after four (4) hours work.

  • Paid Sick Leave Employees shall earn and be granted paid sick leave according to the following provisions:

  • Reinstatement of Vacation Days - Sick Leave In the event an employee is sick or injured prior to the commencement of his/her vacation, such employee shall be granted sick leave and the vacation period so displaced shall be added to the vacation period if requested by the employee and by mutual agreement, or shall be reinstated for use at a later date.

  • Sick Leave While on Vacation An employee who while on vacation is incapacitated for one (1) or more days due to personal illness or injury may charge such days to accrued sick leave. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 126. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above specified or substitute holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional day's pay at time- and-one-half the usual rate in the amount of 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked provided, however, that at the employee's request and with the approval of the appointing officer, an employee may be granted compensatory time off in lieu of paid overtime as provided for elsewhere in this contract. 127. Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of-one-and-one-half times for work on the holiday.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE (VACATION) A.
