TRANSFERS TO OTHER JOBS. (a) When an employee transfers to another job, her name shall be added to the departmental seniority list as of the effective day of the transfer.

TRANSFERS TO OTHER JOBS. Employees transferred will receive the job rate for the occupational classification to which they are assigned when they pro- duce the normal quantity and quality. An employee transferred to a higher occu- pational classification in the same occupa- tion will be paid at least the minimum of the range or his then current card rate whichever is higher. An employee will be entitled to the job rate when he is producing normal quantity and quality. An employee who, because of lack of work, displaces to a different occupational classi- fication under the provisions of Article will be given one week’s notice. Dur- ing that time he will be paid his hourly rate while remaining on the old job or, if trans- ferred, will be paid at a rate not less the hourly rate of the employee’s former job for up to weeks immediately following the date of displacement. The above paragraph shall not be mandatory in the event that an employee selects an open job in preference to his seniority rights under Article Decreasing and Increasing Forces. An employee required to perform tempo- rarily some other job outside his regular work group, due to lack of work, will be paid for four hours, or for the half shift if transferred at the beginning of the half shift, at his payroll rate based on the best class of work performed most frequently.
