Transitional Planning Services Program. (TPSP): A program within 23 the Children and Family Services (CFS) Division of SSA, which provides 24 independent living skills training resources, supportive services, vocational 25 assessment referrals, and financial resources for employment and education to 26 Orange County’s dependent and emancipated youth, ages sixteen (16) through 27 twenty (20) years; and aftercare recipients, up to age twenty-four (24) years.
Transitional Planning Services Program. (TPSP): CONTRACTOR shall: Work collaboratively with SSA’s TPSP/Independent Living Program (ILP) and SSA’s contracted Emancipation/ILP service provider(s) to meet the service goals set forth in each Xxxxxx Youth’s/NMD’s TILP. CJC0821-00 Page 10 of 34 February 9, 2021 Assist Xxxxxx Youth/NMD placed in STRTPs outside of Orange County in participating in that community’s local TPSP, where available. Support Xxxxxx Youth/NMD in making a successful transition to a Lower Level of Care by assisting them in participating in TPSP events including, but not limited to: Workshops - offering services in such areas as education, career, relationships, and daily living skills; Special Events - including, but not limited to, Independent City, Graduation, Career Fair, and College Tours; Specialized Services for Disabled Children - including, but not limited to, outreach, follow-up training, and individual services; Mentor Programs; and Job Placement Services.
