Traveling To and From School. Do not leave the mobile device in a vehicle. • Carry the mobile device carefully and securely • If ever in a situation when someone is threatening you for your mobile device, give it to them and tell a staff member as soon as you arrive at school • Students are prohibited from: • Putting stickers or additional marking on the mobile devices, cases, or power cord or chargers. • Defacing ASD20/SILT issued equipment in any way. This includes, but is not limited to marking, painting, drawing or marring any surface of the mobile devices or stitching on the protective case. • If such action occurs, the student may be billed for the cost of repair or replacement • Do not swing, throw, or otherwise engage in rough treatment of a backpack when the mobile device is inside

If at home, file a police report. ● Stolen devices are tracked through a District software program and may be retrieved in cooperation with police. Students are prohibited from: ● Defacing the device in any way. This includes but is not limited to marking, painting, drawing, or marring any surface of the device. ● Leaning on the top of the device when it is closed. ● Placing anything on top of the device that can put pressure on the screen. Students may be charged for the cost of repair or replacement related to prohibited actions.

If you have to leave your backpack in a car for an extended period of time, storage should be in a locked truck where it will not be subject to theft. • Use your backpack for transport. • Computers can be used on school buses. Students are expected to comply with the Ferndale School District Technology Agreement signed at the beginning of the year. No cameras (still or video) can be used during this time. • Use a soft, dry, lint free cloth when cleaning the computer. Never use cleaning products containing acetone or ammonia.

(restrooms or locker rooms) Troubleshooting & Support‌ With Xxxxxxx ISD managed accounts, students will be provided cloud storage through Google Drive and iCloud accounts. Students must always keep account information private and secure. The benefit of storing information in the cloud is that it can be accessed from any device connected to the Internet, and files will not be lost if a device is no longer functional. Support‌ Detailed support information is available online. If you are unable to resolve issues with your device, the next step is to turn in an on-line student support ticket. This ticket will be routed to the person who can best help you solve your problem. Cameras‌ Cameras are to be used for educational purposes only as directed by teachers. Examples include the following: • Recording videos or taking pictures to include in a project • Recording a student giving a speech and playing back for improvements. Please refer to the Parent Responsibility section of this document for suggestions on how to monitor student use of technology in the home.‌ Instructional apps will be distributed by Garland ISD through a mobile device management system (MDM). Students should not install apps for personal reasons or without teacher instruction to ensure that resources on the device are maintained for instructional use. Printing‌ If students need to print a hard copy of an assignment, they can login to a cloud account and save the project, then login to a campus PC and print from the cloud account. Copyright and plagiarism‌ Students will follow all copyright laws.   • Returning to Work (a) Returning to work early (i) During the period of parental leave an Employee may return to work at any time as agreed between the Employer and the Employee, provided that time does not exceed four weeks from the recommencement date desired by the Employee. (ii) In the case of adoption, where the placement of an eligible child with an Employee does not proceed or continue, the Employee will notify the Employer immediately and the Employer will nominate a time not exceeding four weeks from receipt of notification for the Employee’s return to work. (b) Returning to work at conclusion of leave (i) At least four weeks prior to the expiration of parental leave, the Employee will notify the Employer of their return to work after a period of parental leave. (ii) Subject to 51.23(b)(iii), an Employee will be entitled to the position which they held immediately before proceeding on parental leave. In the case of an Employee transferred to a safe job pursuant to clause 51.12 above, the Employee will be entitled to return to the position they held immediately before such transfer. (iii) Where such position no longer exists but there are other positions available which the Employee is qualified for and is capable of performing, the Employee will be entitled to a position as nearly comparable in status and pay to that of their former position. (c) Returning to work at a reduced time fraction (i) To assist an Employee in reconciling work and parental responsibilities, an Employee may request to return to work at a reduced time-fraction until their Child reaches school age, after which the Employee will resume their substantive time-fraction. (ii) Where an Employee wishes to make a request under 51.23(c)(i) such a request must be made as soon as possible but no less than seven weeks prior to the date upon which the Employee is due to return to work from parental leave.

  • Information Relating to the Portfolios (a) No person is authorized to make any representations concerning shares of a Portfolio other than those contained in the Portfolio's Prospectus. In buying Portfolio shares from us under this Agreement, you will rely only on the representations contained in the Prospectus. Upon your request, we will furnish you with a reasonable number of copies of the Portfolios' current prospectuses or statements of additional information or both (including any stickers thereto).

  • Covenants Relating to Rule 144 For so long as the Company is subject to the reporting requirements of Section 13 or 15 of the Securities Act, the Company covenants that it will file the reports required to be filed by it under the Securities Act and Section 13(a) or 15(d) of the Exchange Act and the rules and regulations adopted by the Commission thereunder. If the Company ceases to be so required to file such reports, the Company covenants that it will upon the request of any Holder of Registrable Securities (a) make publicly available such information as is necessary to permit sales pursuant to Rule 144 under the Securities Act, (b) deliver such information to a prospective purchaser as is necessary to permit sales pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act and it will take such further action as any Holder of Registrable Securities may reasonably request, and (c) take such further action that is reasonable in the circumstances, in each case, to the extent required, from time to time, to enable such Holder to sell its Registrable Securities without registration under the Securities Act within the limitation of the exemptions provided by (i) Rule 144 under the Securities Act, as such Rule may be amended from time to time, (ii) Rule 144A under the Securities Act, as such rule may be amended from time to time, or (iii) any similar rules or regulations hereafter adopted by the Commission. Upon the request of any Holder of Registrable Securities, the Company will deliver to such Holder a written statement as to whether it has complied with such requirements and of the Securities Act and the Exchange Act (at any time after it has become subject to the reporting requirements of the Exchange Act), a copy of the most recent annual and quarterly report(s) of the Company, and such other reports, documents or stockholder communications of the Company, and take such further actions consistent with this Section 8(a), as a Holder may reasonably request in availing itself of any rule or regulation of the Commission allowing a Holder to sell any such Registrable Securities without registration.

  • Ancillary and Travel Expenses A. Except as otherwise provided in the Grant Agreement, no ancillary expenses incurred by the Grantee in connection with its provision of the services or deliverables will be reimbursed by the System Agency. Ancillary expenses include, but are not limited to, costs associated with transportation, delivery, and insurance for each deliverable. B.
