Turnaround or Periodic Leave. On out of town projects of over fifty (50) calendar days duration, the Employer shall provide leave every forty (40) calendar days. An allowance for turnaround or periodic leave will be provided on a "use it or lose it" basis. The allowance will be based on the following formula: May 22, 2016 250 km to 500 km $175.00 $200.00 501 km to 750 km $275.00 $300.00 751 km to 1,000 km $375.00 $400.00 over 1,000 km $475.00 $500.00 The mileage will be computed from the project to the transportation terminal nearest the employee's domicile. It is agreed the above amounts will be paid only once for each turnaround. The extent of the leave shall be for a minimum of five (5) days to a maximum of one (1) week, or a number of days mutually agreed between the employee and the Employer's representative. The timing of the leave shall also be decided by mutual agreement. In no event will an employee receive leave unless he actually returns to his place of departure. Living out allowances shall not be paid during leave periods. (k) 1. Employees qualifying for leave shall be returned to the transportation terminal nearest the employee's domicile, except members from other locals or out of province employees who shall return to the point of dispatch within the province of B.C.

Turnaround or Periodic Leave. On out of town projects of over thirty-five (35) calendar days duration, the Employer shall provide leave every twenty-eight (28) calendar days. An allowance for turnaround or periodic leave will be provided on a “use it or lose it” basis. The allowance will be based on the following formula: 250 km to 500 km $255.00 501 km to 750 km $425.00 751 km to 1,000 km $595.00 over 1,000 km $680.00 The allowance will be based on the maximum tax-free mileage rate established by the Canada Revenue Agency and will be established annually by multiplying the midpoint of each mileage range by the CRA mileage amount. These amounts will be updated on the same date as changes to the mileage amount are effective. The mileage will be computed from the project to the employee’s residence. It is agreed the above amounts will be paid only once for each turnaround. The extent of the leave shall be for a minimum of five (5) days to a maximum of one (1) week, or a number of days mutually agreed between the employee and the Employer’s representative. Qualification for this leave requires a minimum of five (5) days of work following the leave. The timing of the leave shall also be decided by mutual agreement.   • Approved Leave of Absence During Vacation Where it can be established by the employee through a doctor's certificate that an illness or accident occurred, or where an employee qualifies for bereavement or any other approved leave during his/her period of vacation, there shall be no deduction from vacation credits for such absence. The period of vacation so displaced shall either be added to the vacation or reinstated for use at a later date, at the employee's option, as mutually agreed.

  • Bereavement During Vacation Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to a bereavement, the employee shall be entitled to bereavement leave in accordance with Article 12.

  • Work During Vacation Should an employee who has commenced his scheduled vacation and agrees upon request by the Hospital to return to perform work during the vacation period, the employee shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times his basic straight time rate for all hours so worked. To replace the originally scheduled days on which such work was performed, the employee will receive one (1) vacation lieu day off for each day on which he has so worked.

  • Approved Leave of Absence With Pay During Vacation When an employee is qualified for bereavement leave, sick leave or any other approved leave with pay during her vacation period, there shall be no deduction from the vacation credits for such leave. In the case of sick leave, this section shall only apply when the period of illness or injury is in excess of two (2) days and a note from a physician may be required. The period of vacation so displaced shall be taken at a mutually agreed time. An employee intending to claim displaced vacation leave must advise the Employer and provide necessary documentation within seven (7) days of returning to work.

  • Sick Leave Verification Process a. The new school district shall provide the employee with the necessary verification form at the time the employee receives confirmation of employment in the school district. b. An employee must initiate the sick leave verification process and forward the necessary verification forms to the previous school district(s) within ninety (90) days of commencing employment with the new school district. c. The previous school district(s) shall make every reasonable effort to retrieve and verify the sick leave credits which the employee seeks to port.

  • Sick Leave During Leave of Absence (F/T) When an Employee is given leave of absence without pay for any reason, or is laid off on account of lack of work, he/she shall not continue to accumulate sick leave and shall not be entitled to receive pay for sickness for the period of such absence, but shall retain his/her cumulative credit, if any, existing at the time of such leave or lay-off.

  • Illness During Vacation (The following clause is applicable to full-time employees only)

  • Annual Leave Loading During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading of 17.5 per cent calculated on the employee’s normal hourly rate of pay and the daily fares allowance if applicable. The loading will also apply to proportionate leave on lawful termination.

  • CLEC OUTAGE For a problem limited to one CLEC (or a building with multiple CLECs), BellSouth has several options available for restoring service quickly. For those CLECs that have agreements with other CLECs, BellSouth can immediately start directing traffic to a provisional CLEC for completion. This alternative is dependent upon BellSouth having concurrence from the affected CLECs. Whether or not the affected CLECs have requested a traffic transfer to another CLEC will not impact BellSouth's resolve to re-establish traffic to the original destination as quickly as possible.

  • Employment During Unpaid Maternity Leave Where less than the 52 weeks Other Parent Leave is taken paid or unpaid, the unused portion of the leave cannot be banked or preserved in any way.
