Common use of Twelve Holidays Clause in Contracts

Twelve Holidays. The following holidays shall be observed: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, an additional holiday which shall be the day related to Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a day related to Christmas. The additional holiday shall be observed on a day Monday through Friday as mutually determined. An employee may take either Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx.'s birthday or the holiday related to Independence Day as his/her twelfth holiday. Designation of the holiday to be taken must be given to appropriate supervision by the end of December, proceeding the calendar year during which holidays are to be observed. Designation of the which holiday is to be taken must be given to appropriate supervision by the end of December, proceeding preceding the calendar year during which the holidays are to be observed.
