Common use of UNIFORMS AND LAUNDRY ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

UNIFORMS AND LAUNDRY ALLOWANCE. a. Subject to (c) below, sufficient suitable and serviceable uniforms or overalls will be supplied free of cost, to each Employee required to wear them. An Employee to whom a new uniform or part of a uniform has been supplied by the Employer, who fails to return the corresponding article last supplied, will not be entitled to have such article replaced without payment for it at a reasonable price, in the absence of a satisfactory reason for the loss of such article or failure to produce such uniform or part thereof.
