Common use of Union Education Clause in Contracts

Union Education. Subject to operational requirements, a leave of absence without pay for the purposes of Union education will be granted for a maximum of twelve weeks per calendar year for the entire bargaining unit. The written notice requesting such leave must be received by the Commission four weeks before the start of the leave.
