UNIONISED EMPLOYEES. At companies that employ 35 or more unionised employees within the scope of the collective agreement at every single workplace, a substitute trade union representative may be elected to serve during prolonged absences of the ordinary trade union representative due to illness, holiday, training, etc. The substitute must meet the same conditions for election as the trade union representative. During their work as acting trade union representative, the substitute trade union representative is covered by the same rules of protection as those which apply to the ordinary trade union representative.   • DNR Employees An employee of the Department of Natural Resources may meet the basic eligibility requirement for participation in the Group Insurance Program based on a combination of seasonal and temporary project employment. Eligibility commences after completion of three (3) years of continuous service in which the basic eligibility requirements are met; continues until the employee completes a year in which the basic eligibility requirements are not met; and commences again after the employee meets or is anticipated to meet the basic eligibility requirements in one (1) year.

  • Injured Employees In the event of an employee sustaining injuries at work and becoming physically handicapped as a result thereof, every effort shall be made by the Employer to give the injured employee such suitable employment as is available.
