Use of District Equipment and Supplies. ‌ Except as provided in Section 8 of this Article, ECCE shall not have the right to use District equipment or supplies to conduct ECCE business, except ECCE officers may, with permission of the appropriate Xxxx, Director or Manager, have limited use of office equipment provided ECCE provides its own paper supplies.

Use of District Equipment and Supplies. Effective upon ratification, AFSCME Local 1902 agrees to pay $800 per month for the use of District vehicles, office space, equipment, telephone, and supplies. Effective July 1, 2006 and July 1, 2007, this sum shall increase by a percentage equal to 90% of the Consumer Price All Items Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) for Los Angeles- Anaheim-Riverside (1982-84=100) May/May (published about June 15). Notwithstanding the above, but no earlier than January 1, 2008, at such time that all other tenants (excluding the Credit Union) are paying fair market value, the Union shall also pay fair market value, not to exceed $1.92 per square foot. For purposes of this provision, fair market value means the lowest rental price for similar office space, vehicles, telephones and supplies, at the District’s Headquarters office. District vehicles may only be used to conduct AFSCME Local 1902 business. The Employee Relations Officer may not grant permission until the District has obtained a policy of insurance protecting the District from losses arising out of such use and naming the District, its directors, officers and employees as additional insured and providing bodily injury and property damage combined insurance in an amount of not less than‌ $500,000. The policy shall be endorsed to provide 30 days written notice of cancellation or material change to the District and may be required to contain a severability of interests clause. The policy premiums shall be paid by AFSCME Local 1902.

  • Equipment and Tools 40.01 The Employer will make available all necessary tools and equipment it requires for the performance of work assignments at no cost to the employees. Such tools and equipment will remain the property of the Employer and the employees will be required to take reasonable care of this property and may be required to sign out certain equipment and tools.
