Utilization of Accrued Sick Leave. The District agrees to permit employees 10 accrued sick leave for purposes of seeking new employment. All such 11 usage is to be requested in advance and approved by the employee’s 12 immediate supervisor; however, the supervisor will make every reasonable 13 effort to grant the request whenever practicable.
