Common use of Vacation Accrual and Use Clause in Contracts

Vacation Accrual and Use. Vacation leave shall be earned at the rate of one (1) eight hour day per month of service. For the purpose of this section, a month of service is completed when the employee has worked eleven (11) days in any one month. Vacation shall accrue from date of employment but shall not be used until the following calendar year shall not be available to the employee until January 1 of the year following.
