Vacation Period, Twelve-Month Employees. 1. Vacations will be granted to twelve-month employees at such times during the school year as are suitable considering both the wishes of employees and efficiency of the operation of the department concerned; provided that no more than five (5%) percent of the maintenance classification and no more than five (5%) percent of the custodial classification are on vacation at any one time during the school year.

Vacation Period, Twelve-Month Employees. 1. Vacations will be granted to twelve-month employees at such times between August 1 and the five (5) work days beyond the end of the student school year that are suitable considering both the wishes of employees and efficiency of the operation of the department concerned; provided that no more than ten (10%) percent of the maintenance classification and no more than ten (10%) percent of the custodial classification are on vacation at any one time between August 1 and the five (5) work days beyond the end of the student school year. Exceptions to the ten percent (10%) limit will be reviewed and approved by the immediate supervisor.

  • Twelve Month Employees A member of the unit who is employed on a twelve (12) month 19 basis shall be allowed paid vacation leave, exclusive of holidays, as follows:

  • Vacation Period ‌ The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.
