Vacation Requests and Scheduling. In January of each year, or as otherwise agreed by the Local, the Employer shall post a notice suggesting all Employees submit, by February 1, requests for annual vacation for the period April 1 of the current year to March 31 of the following year. The Employer shall post a tentative vacation schedule for Employees who have indicated their choice for vacation. If an Employee’s request for annual vacation cannot be granted, the Employee shall have the right to submit a request indicating her next preference. Employees who do not request their vacation by September 1 of each year shall be advised in writing of any remaining hours that need to be scheduled. In the event the Employee’s vacation has not been scheduled by October 1, the Employer and Employee shall meet to discuss and confirm her scheduled vacation. It is understood that forty
