Vacations on Termination. An employee quitting or leaving his employment for other reasons will receive accumulated vacation pay. Prior to the start of his vacation, an employee shall receive any pay cheques which may fall due during the period of his vacation.

Vacations on Termination a) When a probationary employee ceases employment he will be paid four percent (4%) of his regular pay earned. b) When an employee with seniority ceases employment, he will be paid: i) his unused earned vacation pay for the vacation year ending on the last preceding April 1st; and, ii) the appropriate percentage based on his vacation scale applied to his regular earnings from the last preceding April 1st to his last day of employment (e.g. after one (1) year’s employment, four percent (4%); after five (5) years employment, six percent (6%), etc.). iii) Vacation pay will not be paid to an employee in lieu of taking his vacation unless such circumstance is the result of terminating employment.
Vacations on Termination. Employees with service of 3 months or longer who leave the service of the Company for any reason will be eligible at time of leaving to receive any unexercised vacation credit to which they may be entitled as follows: (a) For employees who have received no vacation, one fifty-second (1/52nd) of one week's vacation with pay for each week of service. (b) For employees who have received one or more vacations: (1) Vacation with pay for which they were eligible at April 1st last preceding. (2) One fifty-second (1/52nd) of the vacation scale applicable in each case at time of separation for each week of service computed back to April 1st. (c) Employees who are laid off and are eligible for vacation pay as above, may leave their vacation pay with the Company for a period not exceeding six months.
