VEHICLE CLEANING. It is the Driverguide’s responsibility, when on tour and when passengers are being carried, that the vehicle is cleaned inside and outside before the tour commences each day. The Driverguide will only be refunded on producing a receipt if there were costs involved. See Annexure B for the maximum daily rate per microbus or sprinter owned by the Tour Operator.
VEHICLE CLEANING. Parking Operator shall wash the exterior and clean the interior of each vehicle at regular intervals, as established in the SOP.
VEHICLE CLEANING. Contractor shall be responsible at its cost for maintaining all Transit Buses in a neat and clean appearance. Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining cleaning supplies in Transit Buses including, at a minimum, the following: • paper towels; • throw-away plastic gloves • cleaning solutions such as Simple Green, Lysol, Ram or a similar cleaning solution that can clean, disinfect and deodorize and which are non-toxic and non-staining;
VEHICLE CLEANING. Vehicles must be returned in a reasonable state of cleanliness, completely free of mud, rubbish and pet hair. The toilet and water tank must be returned empty. Smoking is strictly prohibited in or within 5 metres of the Apollo vehicles. If vehicles are not returned in a satisfactory fashion, fees will apply (below fees include GST). Cleaning fees will be charged if the vehicle is returned in an unreasonable state of cleanliness up to $500.00 and/or an additional $200 fee in the event the vehicle needs pet cleaning. This excludes service animals. Should the vehicle need deodorising as a result of smoking a $300 fee will be charged. If the vehicle is returned with any waste or excrement in the toilet cassette a fee of $200 will be charged.
VEHICLE CLEANING. A maximum of R .per day per Sprinter or R per day per Micro/ Minibus, may be claimed for vehicle cleaning. This would obviously apply only when on tour and when passengers are being carried.
VEHICLE CLEANING. CONTRACTOR shall maintain RCTA vehicles in a clean and neat condition at all times. A record of interior and exterior vehicle washing shall be maintained in the Maintenance Supervisor’s office, or other designated maintenance shop location. The interior of all vehicles shall be kept free of litter and debris to the maximum practicable extent throughout the operating day. Vehicles shall be swept and dusted daily. Interior panels, windows, and upholstery shall be cleaned of marks as necessary. The interiors of all vehicles shall be thoroughly washed at least once per week (or more often to maintain a clean, sanitary interior), including all windows, seats, floor, stanchions and grab rails. All foreign matter such as gum, grease, dirt and graffiti shall be removed from interior surfaces during the interior cleaning process. Any damage to seat upholstery shall be repaired immediately upon discovery. Destination sign interior glass shall be cleaned as necessary to maintain a clean appearance and maximize visibility. Exteriors of all RCTA vehicles shall be washed as required to maintain a clean, inviting appearance and in no event less than once per week. Exterior washing shall include bus body, all windows and wheels. Rubber or vinyl exterior components such as tires, bumper fascia, fender skirts and door edge guards shall be cleaned and treated with a preservative at least once per month, or as necessary to maintain an attractive appearance. Buses shall be kept free of vermin and insects at all times. CONTRACTOR shall exterminate all vermin and insects from all vehicles immediately upon their discovery, utilizing safe and non-hazardous materials. CONTRACTOR shall comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations with respect to wastewater that results from vehicle cleaning.
