Vehicle preparation. 4.1. Measurements shall be carried out on a vehicle which has travelled a distance of between 1,000 km and 10,000 km, preferably 5,000 km. 4.2. Tyres shall be inflated to the full-load pressure specified by the vehicle manufacturer. The vehicle shall be fully replenished (fuel, water, oil) and equipped with all the accessories and tools specified by the manufacturer. Full fuel replenishment means that the fuel tank must be filled to not less than 90 per cent of its capacity. 4.3. The vehicle shall have the parking brake released and the gearbox in neutral. 4.4. The vehicle shall be conditioned for at least 8 h at the temperature specified in paragraph 3.4. above. 4.5. If a photometric or visual method is used, headlamps with a well- defined dipped-beam cut-off should preferably be installed on the vehicle under test in order to facilitate the measurements. Other means are allowed to obtain a more precise reading (for example, removal of the headlamp lens).

Test Vehicle A vehicle which is representative of the type(s) for which the replacement brake lining assembly approval is required shall be equipped with the replacement brake lining assemblies of the type for which approval is requested and instrumented for brake testing as required by Regulations Nos. 13 and 13-H. Brake linings submitted for test shall be fitted to the relevant brakes and, until a fixed burnishing procedure is established, shall be burnished to the manufacturer's instructions in agreement with the technical service. 1.1.2. Bedding (burnishing) procedure 1.1.2.1. General conditions Brake lining assemblies submitted for test shall be fitted to the relevant brakes. In the case of replacement brake lining assemblies, new brake linings must be used. Drum brake linings may be machined to achieve the best possible initial contact between the linings and drum(s). The test vehicle shall be fully laden. Original brake lining assemblies used for comparison test and already fitted to the test vehicle may be used provided they are in a good condition and have not been worn out by more than 20 per cent of the initial thickness. They must not show damages, cracks, excessive corrosion or signs of overheating. They shall be bedded to the procedure described below.

Please make sure there is no wax or sealers used after this wash. A simple solution of water and xxxx dish soap is recommended. Initial charge of the battery The charge is carried out: (a) With the on-board charger; (b) In an ambient temperature between 293 K and 303 K. The procedure excludes all types of external chargers. The end of traction battery charge criteria corresponds to an automatic stop given by the on-board charger. This procedure includes all types of special charges that could be automatically or manually initiated like, for instance, the equalisation charges or the servicing charges. 5.1.3. Procedure from paragraphs 5.1.1. and 5.1.2. shall be repeated two times.

Vehicle preparation. 4.19.1 The Contractor shall ensure that all vehicles used for the transporting of hazardous and non-hazardous materials, substances, and wastes have been thoroughly cleaned, inspected and readied for use. The Contractor shall take all necessary safety precautions to secure the vehicle(s) while at a Site including, but not limited to chocking wheels, ignition turned off, etc. 4.19.2 For any bulk transfer the Contractor shall inspect the vehicle(s) and all equipment to be used during the transfer procedure to ensure that they are functioning properly; turn off the engine during connections and loading/unloading unless it is necessary to operate a pump; use a physical barrier system (wheel chocks) or interlocked warning light system to prevent accidental drive-off; ensure proper grounding is achieved to prevent static electricity if transferring flammable materials; and remain with the vehicle and monitor flow rate and adjust accordingly to ensure that no leakage is occurring at the truck-hose connection as long as the truck loading/unloading line is connected. In the event that a spill occurs, the Contractor shall immediately address the spill(s) so that the discharge does not present a hazard to human health or the environment. 4.19.3 The Contractor shall conspicuously display all required placards and identification information on its vehicles used for the transportation of hazardous and non- hazardous materials, substances and wastes.

  • Site Preparation Axon will provide a hardcopy or digital copy of current user documentation for the Axon Devices ("User Documentation"). User Documentation will include all required environmental specifications for the professional services and Axon Devices to operate per the Axon Device User Documentation. Before installation of Axon Devices (whether performed by Customer or Axon), Customer must prepare the location(s) where Axon Devices are to be installed ("Installation Site") per the environmental specifications in the Axon Device User Documentation. Following installation, Customer must maintain the Installation Site per the environmental specifications. If Axon modifies Axon Device User Documentation for any Axon Devices under this Agreement, Axon will provide the update to Customer when Axon generally releases it

  • Preparation Awarded vendor shall not begin a project for which TIPS Member has not prepared the site, unless awarded vendor does the preparation work at no cost, or until TIPS Member includes the cost of site preparation in a purchase order. Site preparation includes, but is not limited to: moving furniture, installing wiring for networks or power, and similar pre-installation requirements. Registered sex offender restrictions: For work to be performed at schools, awarded vendor agrees that no employee of a sub-contractor who has been adjudicated to be a registered sex offender will perform work at any time when students are, or reasonably expected to be, present. Awarded vendor agrees that a violation of this condition shall be considered a material breach and may result in the cancellation of the purchase order at the TIPS Member’s discretion. Awarded vendor must identify any additional costs associated with compliance of this term. If no costs are specified, compliance with this term will be provided at no additional charge. Safety measures: Awarded vendor shall take all reasonable precautions for the safety of employees on the worksite, and shall erect and properly maintain all necessary safeguards for protection of workers and the public. Awarded vendor shall post warning signs against all hazards created by the operation and work in progress. Proper precautions shall be taken pursuant to state law and standard practices to protect workers, general public and existing structures from injury or damage.

  • Proposal Preparation The contractor shall assume all costs associated with preparation of proposals for task order awards under the proposal process as an indirect charge (B&P costs). The Government will not reimburse awardees for proposals as a direct charge.

  • ANALYSIS AND MONITORING The Custodian shall (a) provide the Fund (or its duly-authorized investment manager or investment adviser) with an analysis of the custody risks associated with maintaining assets with the Eligible Securities Depositories set forth on Schedule B hereto in accordance with section (a)(1)(i)(A) of Rule 17f-7, and (b) monitor such risks on a continuing basis, and promptly notify the Fund (or its duly-authorized investment manager or investment adviser) of any material change in such risks, in accordance with section (a)(1)(i)(B) of Rule 17f-7.
