Common use of Visits of Union Representatives Clause in Contracts

Visits of Union Representatives. Duly authorized representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Store for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted after notifying the Store Manager, or whoever is in charge, and shall be: (a) Carried on in a place in the store designated by Management; (b) Held whenever possible during the lunch period; however, if this not practical;
