Voluntary Activities. The parties agree that employee participation in the Combined Federal Campaign, Blood Donor Drives, Bond Campaigns and other worthy projects will be on a voluntary basis. This does not preclude giving general publicity and encouragement to employees to contribute. The Employer will not require or coerce employees to invest their money, donate to charity or participate in these activities. Participation or nonparticipation will not advantage or disadvantage employees.
Voluntary Activities. Employees are not required to contribute money in the Combined Federal Campaign, purchase U.S. bonds in any bond drive, or donate blood in any organized blood drive. Participation or nonparticipation will not advantage or disadvantage Employees.
Voluntary Activities. Where the participation of an Employee in a voluntary professional development activity is approved in advance by the College, the criteria which follow shall be used by the College in determining the extent, if any, of financial support to be provided by the College and in determining the degree to which the activity may take place during scheduled working days:
Voluntary Activities. 1181 All the duties listed in Appendix E, (“Supplemental Pay Activities”) are 1182 voluntary. If no unit members volunteer, the District shall make all reasonable 1183 efforts to find xxx-xxxx Xxxxxxxx employees or persons not employed by the District 1184 to perform the duties. If the District cannot meet the identified student needs 1185 through these efforts, the site administrator may assign the duty to unit 1186 member(s). Performance of these extra duties will not be considered in the 1187 equitable allocation of the adjunct duties.
Voluntary Activities. Participation in activities outside of an employee's assignment, including community involvement, shall be on a voluntary basis and shall be outside the scope of an evaluation of the work of an employee.
Voluntary Activities. 3.6.1 Activities beyond the workday such as club sponsorships, private parent organization meetings, dances, and athletic events shall be voluntary on the part of the teacher.
3.6.2 Faculty attendance at each school’s annual open house is voluntary; however the parties recognize the importance of this activity to the school community. Therefore, teachers who attend open house will be granted two hours of compensatory time.
3.6.3 Participation on school-based committees shall be voluntary when possible. If involuntary committee assignments become necessary, those assignments shall be equitably distributed. Committee meetings should occur on regularly assigned meeting dates when possible.
Voluntary Activities. A. All scoring of the district progress monitoring is voluntary. Comp time may be earned for scoring of the district progress monitoring for work completed after the normal workday. One hour of comp time or $25 will be given for each hour worked and must be used within the year the comp time was earned. Comp time that is not used will be compensated at $25 per hour by the last paycheck in June. The teacher will record the comp time on a form developed by the district and have it signed by the principal. The office manager will record the comp time. Time may be used in lieu of sick or personal leave. The authorization of comp time is the responsibility of the principal.
Voluntary Activities. Participation in the activities listed in 14.1 (items “1” through “6”) scheduled for Saturday or Sunday, or later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, shall be voluntary. In addition, all the duties listed in Appendix E, (“Supplemental Pay Activities”) are voluntary. If no unit members volunteer, then the duty may be assigned by the site administrator. Performance of these extra duties will not be considered in the equitable allocation of the adjunct duties.

Voluntary Activities. (cleaning public areas):
1. The participants in each target area selected the areas to be cleaned in coordination with the local councils.
2. The participants cleaned at least one place in each locality by collecting garbage or cleaning walls from electoral campaign posters in the selected areas.
