Volunteer Activities. Executive may serve in various capacities for various non-profit civic, charitable and educational organizations from time to time. Any such non-profit work that has the potential to interfere to any degree with Executive’s services to the Company, or where Executive will be taking a visible role in the organization, must be disclosed to, and approved by, the Board of Directors prior to Executive performing such services.
Volunteer Activities. Table 79 shows those students who report volunteering either on or off-campus often or very often. Over half (55%) report at least occasionally volunteering either on or off-campus, including about 1 in 4 who do so often or very often. There is significant crossover among those volunteering on and off-campus. Just less than half (46%) of students report participating at least occasionally in off- campus community service volunteer activities during the current academic year, including almost 1 in 5 who has done so often or very often. Participation in off-campus community service volunteer activities appears to increase as students make their way through their program. While 36% of first-year students are involved at least occasionally, 55% of students in their fourth year or more report the same. About 4 in 10 (38%) have participated at least occasionally in on-campus community service or volunteer activities during the current academic year, including over 1 student in 10 that has done so often or very often.
Volunteer Activities. 50.01 The parties both recognize the value of employee’s participation in volunteer activities of an essential nature to the community.
50.02 In recognition of the importance of such activities the employer agrees that employees who are Volunteer Fire Fighters, Ambulance Attendants, Search and Rescue, Auxiliary RCMP Officers (if responding to an emergency), and/or Victim Services Volunteers will be provided two (2) clear hours for each hour of voluntary activity, to a maximum of eight (8) clear hours, from the end of the volunteer activity until their reporting time without loss of salary.

Volunteer Activities. Coverage may be provided for medical volunteer activities when approved in advance by the Program Director and the GME Office. The Resident should consult with their Program Director for clarification of coverage for proposed volunteer activities in advance of undertaking such activities.
Volunteer Activities. Excused absence may be granted to employees participating in volunteer projects (e.g., adopt a school) provided it is specifically authorized by agency regulations and local policies. This provision does not cover volunteerism in general.

Volunteer Activities. SECTION 1. Employees may volunteer their time to provide Firefighter/EMT services to non-profit entities in the community for civic, charitable or humanitarian purposes during non-duty times. Such volunteer activities are entirely at the discretion of the Employee; the Authority does not have an expectation that Employees should provide volunteer services. Employees are not allowed to volunteer their off-duty time to perform services that other Authority Employees would get paid to do by the Authority as off-roster and special event work.
SECTION 2. The Employee shall not be paid by the Authority for the volunteer services rendered to or for the non-profit entity and the Employee will not be eligible for Authority-sponsored Workers' Compensation coverage, the protections of the Colorado Governmental Immunity Act, or any other benefits that the Employee would be eligible for if he/she was on duty as an Authority Employee. The Employee will be solely responsible for determining what, if any, benefits and protections are provided to the Employee by the organization for which the Employee is volunteering.
SECTION 3. Employees are not allowed to volunteer their off-duty time to the Authority to perform the same services that they otherwise get paid to do by the Authority during their on-duty time, including off- roster and special events work. The volunteer activities that are allowed as described above are for non- profit entities separate and apart from the Authority.
Volunteer Activities. The Volunteer Student will be asked to perform the volunteer activities outlined in the attached “Schedule A”. Work hours are not to exceed 15 hours per week and will take place at times mutually agreeable to the Volunteer Student and the Faculty Researcher.
Volunteer Activities. The Board understands that Xxxxx-Xxxxx may volunteer in civic organizations, may handle pro-xxxx legal matters from time to time as required by the Florida Bar, or volunteer in such other capacities as she deems fit. These volunteer activities shall not impede on Xxxxx-Xxxxx’x ability to perform her duties and responsibilities as the School Board Attorney. The School Board agrees that these types of volunteer activities are not a violation of this section.
