Victim Services a. The regular hours of work for full-time Employees working in Victim Services shall be seven (7) hours per day and thirty-five
Victim Services. The hours of work for Victim Service Program and Victim Service/Community Policing Support Worker, because of the nature of the work are flexible and shall be mutually agreed between the Program Coordinator and the Staff Sergeant and/or designate. Both parties recognize the need to have a flexible work schedule to meet the demands and needs of the Victim Service Program which is a twenty-four (24) hour service delivery, as resources permit, to the community. Employees classified as Coordinator Victim Witness Services and Victim Service Support Worker may work any forty (40) hours from Sunday to Saturday, exclusive of an unpaid one hour meal break. The work schedule mutually agreed to between the Coordinator and the Supervisor is an attempt to maximize the funding allocation received from the Attorney General and meet the service program needs until the program funding ends. The employee and the supervisor shall agree on the individual work schedule within the above range, and where there is disagreement, the supervisor shall make the decision. Volunteers may be utilized to supplement the program needs as a condition of receiving the Attorney General funding. The maximum hours of work for the Victim Service Program shall be forty (40) paid hours per week. If a callout occurs for the regular full-time Victim Service Program Coordinator, the RCMP Staff Sergeant, or his designate, shall authorize the callout. The remuneration for the callout shall be taken at a rate of 1½ straight time, and taken as time off in lieu as approved by the supervisor. Casual employees shall not be eligible for callout provisions.

ENGAGING · EMPOWERING · TRANSFORMING Stanislaus State MEMORANDUM The Parties agree to notify the local Victim-Witness Assistance Program of the sexual assault when a police report is generated. The Victim-Witness Assistance professionals can support the victim during any criminal or campus disciplinary proceeding, including providing the appropriate refenals and resources, and can assist the victim with financial resources through the Victims of Crime Fund.

The Parties agree, with the victim’s consent, to coordinate referrals for support services for sexual assault victims that are made available by municipal and other governmental agencies, the SFPD, the SFSU PD, the SFDA and qualified CBOs/RCCs. The Parties agree to have and share policies setting out their respective responsibilities related to victim support from the time of the report through resolution of the investigation, including prosecution or disciplinary proceedings, as applicable. The Parties agree to notify the SFDA Victim Services Division (VSD) of the sexual assault when a police report is generated. The victim advocates at VSD can support the victim during any criminal or campus disciplinary proceeding, including providing appropriate referrals and resources, crisis intervention and emergency services and can assist the victim with financial resources through the California Victim Compensation Board (xxxxx://xxxxxxx.xx.xxx). The SFDA Victim Services Division should be notified as soon as possible so that they can promptly reach out to the victim to provide support, resources, services and information about the criminal justice process. During the COVID-19 health crisis, contact with victims/survivors will be made by text, email, phone and video (or in person when circumstances allow doing so safely). The Party with operational responsibility agrees to notify the SFDA Victim Services Division of the sexual assault when a police report is generated. The victim-witness assistance professionals at VSD can support the victim during any criminal or campus disciplinary proceeding, including providing appropriate referrals and resources, crisis intervention and emergency services and can assist the victim with financial resources through the Victims of Crime Fund.
