Wage Length of Service. (Wage Experience Credit). Period credited to an employee in the application of the wage schedule for his/her job classification. Generally, the wage length of service of an employee whose entire service has been continuously in the same job will be his/her total length of service. If one is employed at a starting rate higher than the normal starting rate on account of previous telephone or other experience or special training, the wage length of service will include such credit as is given at the time of employment or re-employment, plus service accumulated thereafter. In paid absence cases under the Short Term Disability Plan only the first month of such absence is included in computing wage experience credit, except that employees absent as a result of, and who receive payments for, accidents arising out of, and in the course of, employment will accumulate wage experience credit during the time of such absence and payment.

  • Length of Service For purposes of this Agreement and the method of computing sick leave, annual leave, seniority, and other conditions of employment, except as otherwise provided for herein, a “month” shall be defined as 173.3 hours of work, and a year shall be defined as 2080 hours of work. For purposes of computing longevity (wage) increments and annual leave progression steps, a “year” shall be defined as 1664 hours of work or twelve (12) months, whichever comes last. Time paid for but not worked (excluding standby pay) shall be regarded as time worked for purposes of computing wages and benefits. Time worked which is paid on an overtime basis shall count as time worked for purposes of computing wages and benefits not to exceed 2080 hours within any twelve (12) month period.

  • PERIOD OF SERVICE The Consultant shall complete the Services on or before December 31, 2019 (the “Deadline”), unless the Authority agrees to extend the Deadline for good reason; provided, however, that the Authority may terminate this Contract at any time in accordance with Section 14. Time is of the essence in performance of this Contract. There will be no obligation established between Authority and the Consultant for performance of the Services until Authority provides the Consultant execution of this Contract and receipt by the Authority of appropriate Certificates of Insurance and other documentation as may be required herein.   • Standard of Service The Service Provider shall perform the Services in a competent and professional manner according to standards agreed upon by the Service Provider and the Company. The Service Provider agrees that it will exercise due diligence to abide by and comply with all laws, statutes, rules, regulations, and orders of any governmental authority in the performance of its Services under this Agreement. The Service Provider will conduct its business and perform its obligations in a manner which will not cause the possible revocation or suspension of the Company's Certificate(s) of Authority or cause the Company to sustain any fines, penalties, or other disciplinary action of any nature whatsoever.

  • Level of Service 4.1.1 Each Member and New Market Entrant shall:

  • Theft of Service You shall notify us immediately, in writing or by calling our customer support line, if the Device is stolen or if you become aware at any time that your Service is being stolen, fraudulently used or otherwise being used in an unauthorized manner. When you call or write, you must provide your account number and a detailed description of the circumstances of the Device theft, fraudulent use or unauthorized use of Service. Failure to do so in a timely manner may result in the termination of your Service and additional charges to you. Until such time as we receive notice of the theft, fraudulent use or unauthorized use, you will be liable for all use of the Service using a Device stolen from you and any and all stolen, fraudulent or unauthorized use of the Service.

  • Interruption of Service If required by Good Utility Practice or Applicable Reliability Standards to do so, the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner may require Developer to interrupt or reduce production of electricity if such production of electricity could adversely affect the ability of NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner to perform such activities as are necessary to safely and reliably operate and maintain the New York State Transmission System. The following provisions shall apply to any interruption or reduction permitted under this Article 9.6.2:

If the battery backup does not provide power, Voice Services will not function until normal power is restored. Customer also understands that certain online features of Voice Service, where such features are available, will not be available under certain circumstances, including but not limited to the interruption of the Internet connection.
