Watering. C.10.1. The Contractor shall water lawns, flowers, shrubs, and trees to provide for moisture penetration to a depth of 7 centimeters. If natural precipitation is sufficient to fulfill this requirement, the Contractor may request the COR's permission to suspend watering to avoid too much water in the soil. C.10.2. The Contractor shall present the method, frequencies, and dates of watering in a written schedule in the Grounds Maintenance Plan. The schedule shall take into account the kinds of vegetation, local soil conditions, and the seasonal variations in plant moisture requirements. C.10.3. The Contractor shall provide all hoses, portable sprinklers, and other similar irrigation equipment. C.10.4. The Government shall furnish the supply of water.

Watering. The contractor shall water all trees and palms regularly. The contractor shall provide schedules for all watering performed at least one week prior to commencement. The contractor shall notify the City prior to watering at the time outlined herein and must adhere to the schedule. The City will have the right to alter said schedules due to events or projects that may conflict or require immediate attention. In the first two weeks, watering should occur 4 times a week. The saucers around the trees and palms should be filled with a minimum of three inches of water. From the third week through the eight-week watering should be done 3 times a week. From the ninth week through the 52nd week watering should be done twice a week or more if needed. This is the minimum- watering schedule desired. If site conditions require more water, it is the responsibility of the contractor to make those scheduling changes. The City has the right at anytime during the maintenance period to require additional watering.
Watering a. Check all planted material once a week throughout the contract for dryness by removing the mulch from their base and “sampling the soil” approximately 4 in (100mm) deep. Water if the soil is not moist. b. Water all planted material if a drought (no rain for two weeks) occurs. Provide the water required to meet the watering requirements. c. Watering. ƒ The water supplied to the garden is untreated and is not to be used for drinking. ƒ Weather dependent, notification will be given regarding the spring startup and winter shutoff of water supply.
Watering. A. All turf grass shall be irrigated as required to maintain adequate growth and appearance. B. Irrigation shall be accomplished in accordance with the following time frames: i. Automatic Irrigation 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. ii. Manual Irrigation 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. C. CONTRACTOR shall monitor the requirements of all plant material, soil conditions, seasonal temperature variations, wind conditions and rainfall and shall make appropriate changes in duration of watering cycles and in accordance with any State, City, County or Water District drought imposed restrictions. Contractor is responsible for all watering schedules and shall record and submit schedule to Inspector on daily inspection forms. All changes shall be noted and reported to the INSPECTOR by the end of each work day. D. Special watering may be required during daytime hours after periods of extreme dryness, heat or during manual operation. Watering shall be accordance with the following criteria: i. Monitored to prevent overspray, minimal drift on to private property or prevent access to facilities. ii. There shall be no interference with activities or special events. iii. Irrigation personnel shall be present at each location until watering cycle(s) are complete. CONTRACTOR will be responsible for costs incurred by others due their negligence (i.e., parked vehicles etc). iv. All damages resulting from under or over watering shall be repaired at CONTRACTOR’s expense.
