WEIGHT ON DRIVERS. In order to apply a uniform method of paying engineers based on the number of units in the consist instead of the weight on drivers, the existing agreement provisions relating to pay based on weight on drivers ( such as Rule 1 A on D&RGW; Article 33 on Western Lines; Article 27, Sections 11(a) and (b) on former EP&SW; Article 28, Section 7 on Eastern Lines and Article 34 on SSW) are cancelled and replaced with the following system.
WEIGHT ON DRIVERS. Paragraph 3 of Attachment (e) (System Agreement – Weight on Drivers) of the “Agreement between Union Pacific Railroad (UP) and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers (BLE),” dated March 21, 1996, created a forum to address and simplify matters pertaining to determination of actual unit weights and proper payment for weight-on-drivers. Paragraph 3 provided, in relevant part, the parties would “… establish an Average Weight-on-Driver Committee, to develop and implement a new system that will eliminate the necessity of determining actual unit weights to determine the proper rate of pay.” Pursuant thereto, UP and BLET agree the following changes in the determination and payment of weight-on-drivers shall be made: 1. In lieu of the present weight-on-driver allowance payment, locomotive engineers will be paid an average weight-on-drivers allowance based on the amount for said allowance actually paid during the measurement period February 1, 2017, through July 31, 2017. Pursuant thereto, the amount to be paid to locomotive engineers for a weight-on-driver allowance will be as set forth in the following table: Class of Service Average Weight-on-Driver Allowance Amount 2. Payment of the average weight-on-driver allowance amount set forth in Paragraph 1, above, shall be governed by the following: a. Payment of the applicable average weight-on-driver allowance will be made only to engineers operating (working) in a class of service designated in the table in Paragraph 1, above. b. The terms of this Article are not intended to modify the circumstances or scenarios in which a weight-on-driver allowance is to be paid to an engineer.

WEIGHT ON DRIVERS. 1. In lieu of the present weight-on-driver allowance payment, locomotive engineers performing service in the following class(es) of service will be paid an average weight-on-drivers allowance based on the amount actually paid during the measurement period September 30, 2020, through August 1, 2021. The amount to be paid to locomotive engineers for a weight-on-driver allowance will be as set forth in the following table: Class of Service Average Weight-on-Driver Allowance Amount Work Train $2.47 Yard Service $1.84 Local Freight $2.33 Combination Switch & Road Service $2.04 Through Freight* $1.15 * This amount will be added to the existing 1,200,000-pound (three (3)-unit) rate schedule for through freight service trips. 2. The terms of this Article IIl, Section A are not intended to modify the circumstances or scenarios in which a weight-on-driver allowance is to be paid to an engineer (HAHT, Overtime etc.), separate from a trip rate. 3. The fifty-six (56) cent differential identified in Rule 16 - Basic Day will be rolled into the working (base) rate as referenced in Article Ill, Section A(1) for engineers working in through freight service that qualify for local freight service. 4. The six (6) cent per mile over mile allowance identified in Rule 2 - Rates of Pay, Section a, 4 will be rolled into the existing over mile rate of pay for engineers working in local, work train and freight service.

  • Registry-­‐Level Fees (a) Registry Operator shall pay ICANN a registry-­‐level fee equal to (i) the registry fixed fee of US$6,250 per calendar quarter and (ii) the registry-­‐level transaction fee (collectively, the “Registry-­‐Level Fees”). The registry-­‐level transaction fee will be equal to the number of annual increments of an initial or renewal domain name registration (at one or more levels, and including renewals associated with transfers from one ICANN-­‐accredited registrar to another, each a “Transaction”), during the applicable calendar quarter multiplied by US$0.25; provided, however that the registry-­‐level transaction fee shall not apply until and unless more than 50,000 Transactions have occurred in the TLD during any calendar quarter or any consecutive four calendar quarter period in the aggregate (the “Transaction Threshold”) and shall apply to each Transaction that occurred during each quarter in which the Transaction Threshold has been met, but shall not apply to each quarter in which the Transaction Threshold has not been met. Registry Operator’s obligation to pay the quarterly registry-­‐level fixed fee will begin on the date on which the TLD is delegated in the DNS to Registry Operator. The first quarterly payment of the registry-­‐level fixed fee will be prorated based on the number of calendar days between the delegation date and the end of the calendar quarter in which the delegation date falls.   • Bus Drivers A. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers their regular rate per hour for driving in excess of four (4) hours per day on their regular route. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers their regular rate while transporting students on another regular route during an emergency situation. B. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers $15.00 per hour for field trips. Field trips will be paid from the point where students are picked up to the point students are returned or the point when the driver returns to the pick-up location. C. The terms "field trips," "special trips," and "extra trips" shall henceforth be known as field trips. All non-walking field trips which are sponsored by the District, have been approved by the Superintendent, and are accompanied by an advisor/teacher shall be offered to regular drivers before they are offered to substitutes. Dropped trips or trips that arise within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled departure time can be filled with the first available driver. D. Each bus driver shall be paid for all time that is spent on their bus including deadhead, breakdown, maintenance time, layover time, and random drug and alcohol testing. E. All drivers may take their regularly assigned bus on short trips, however, longer trips shall be assigned at the discretion of the Transportation Department. F. The Board agrees to pay the cost up to thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for costs incurred to any bus driver for physical, eye tests, or abstracts. G. At the beginning of each new school year, field trips shall be offered on a rotating basis from a driver rotation list, beginning with the most senior driver on the list. A bus driver who cancels a trip (non-emergency cancellation as determined by the supervisor) with less than forty-eight (48) hours notice shall miss their turn on the next two trip rotations. Drivers may elect to remove themselves from consideration for extra trips. If removed, drivers will remain so for the designated period of time that trips are bid or they may elect to remove themselves for the entire school year. H. The Board agrees to supply each bus with a broom and window cleaner, for the proper inside and outside cleaning of the bus. I. Mid-day preschool routes shall be offered, bid, and paid as part of drivers’ regular routes. J. All bus routes shall be bid with the most senior driver appointed, providing it is not excessive cost to the Board. K. If a driver takes a field trip he/she will only be deducted the actual morning or evening time from regular route. L. Nine (9) or more students shall be considered a field trip to be transported in a van, mini bus or regular bus, excluding trips by the multiple impaired students, History Day, Science Olympiad, Mock Trial, Vision Unit, commercial buses sponsored by a non- Board entity for football state playoffs, and all other regional and State sports events. M. The Board shall make available to all bus drivers a copy of the State Manual to assist drivers in passing the required written examination. N. The Board shall provide inservice education for all regular drivers employed the effective date of this Agreement to assist drivers in passing the required written examination. O. All bus drivers shall be required to meet all licensing requirements of the State of Ohio to be employed or to remain in the employment of the District. P. All bus drivers shall pass any drug testing requirements established by the Ohio Department of Education, Ohio State Laws, and/or Federal Law governing the commercial licensing of all bus drivers. The cost of said required testing shall be borne by the Board. Q. The Board shall reimburse up to $44.75, once every (4) years, the cost of renewal of the Commercial Driver's License fee, upon submission of a fee receipt. R. The drivers who were grandfathered to drive their buses to and from home on their current routes as of 2001-2002 will remain grandfathered as long as they are drivers for the District, and remain on the same routes. All new drivers shall be subject to the approval of the Transportation Supervisor and Superintendent on taking buses home. (See paragraph J.) In the event a bus driver authorized to take his/her bus home, including the grandfathered drivers, moves from his/her present residence, the Transportation Supervisor and Superintendent shall determine whether the driver will be permitted to continue to drive his/her bus home. (See paragraph J.) S. Bus drivers who are required to plug bus heaters in at their residences shall be paid $1.50 per plug-in. T. The Board will pay for the cost of mandatory training to meet certification requirements.

  • SHOP XXXXXXX The Shop Xxxxxxx shall be a County employee as selected by the Union. A list of shop stewards will be kept current and sent by the Union to each department head and to Human Resources. Duties required by the Union of its stewards, except attendance at meetings with the County, supervisory personnel and aggrieved employees arising out of a grievance already initiated by an employee under Article 14 hereof, shall not interfere with their or other employees, regular work assignments as employees of the County. The shop xxxxxxx, or their designee, involved with a particular grievance must be identified at Step 1 of the grievance procedure and will be designated as the only bargaining unit employee who will be able to gather information pertaining to that particular grievance. The Union will make reasonable efforts to control the amount of investigative time spent between the shop xxxxxxx and the aggrieved employee. Meetings scheduled with management and other proper investigative procedures, and attendance at meetings specified in Steps 1 and 2 of the grievance procedure shall be considered hours worked for compensation purposes to the extent such meetings occur during the normal hours of work, and not otherwise. In order to use union leave for this purpose, Shop Stewards must notify the supervisor/department head of meetings and other commitments at the time these are scheduled. Attendance at meetings specified in Step 3 of the grievance procedure shall be considered hours worked during regularly scheduled business hours of the County for the xxxxxxx involved, witnesses and the grievant. The County shall not be liable for any overtime as a result of the meeting. Witnesses and the shop xxxxxxx involved shall be granted leave with pay to the extent their presence at the proceedings is required. If it is a discharge case the grievant shall not be paid except as provided in a remedy awarded.
