Withdrawal from the University. For Licensees who withdraw from the University, the University’s approval of the request to cancel this Agreement will result in an assessment of a 30-day charge starting from the date Licensee requests the License Agreement cancellation or the date of Licensee’s University withdrawal, whichever is later. Notification after the 30-day-notice period may result in an assessment of a 30-day charge, as well as the $50 cancellation fee.
Withdrawal from the University. A contract will be canceled either for the full or partial academic semesters during the contract period if the student fails to enroll or withdraws from the University. Official withdrawal from the University is when the student has registered and paid fees but decides to cancel registration and formally withdraws. The student must vacate the residence hall or other assigned location within 48 hours of official withdrawal from the University. Students who withdraw or fail to enroll will be charged a nightly prorate for reserved/occupied rooms, either by being physically present or by leaving belongings in the space. For enrolled students, the prorated amount will be based on the date the student has both checked out with the Department of Housing and Residence Life and the official withdrawal date recorded by the MSU registrar’s office. For a student who fails to enroll, the prorated amount will be based on the date the student has checked out with the Department of Housing and Residence Life. Students are financially responsible for the full housing contract after the 30th day of class. Students may be assessed a cancellation fee per Sections VII. A. 1-3., as applicable, above. If a student re-enrolls in the University during the period covered by the original housing contract, the contract will be re-instated and the student will be bound to the remainder of the contract.
Withdrawal from the University a) In order to complete the withdrawal process, a student must properly check out of his/her room within 24 hours of initiating the withdrawal process. On or after the first day of classes of each semester, authorized room and meal plan payment refunds are calculated on a percentage basis. Provided all payment obligations to the university have been met, any remaining refunds are returned to the student.
Withdrawal from the University. A. The parties agree that the contract may be cancelled and a cancellation penalty applied if
i. The resident voluntarily withdraws from the university prior to the end of the academic term, or
ii. The resident is dismissed as a result of academic performance.
B. The resident who withdraws from the university agrees to relinquish any rights of occupancy or services granted under this contract and further agrees to vacate the assigned space within 72 hours of withdrawing according to the published check- out procedure for the residence hall. Any approved refund will be based on the date check-out is successfully completed.
Withdrawal from the University. All room and board charges, excluding the housing verification payment, will be credited to the Student’s account if the student has officially withdrawn from the University prior to the first day of classes.
a) 2017 FALL TERM – As of August 28, 2017 all room and board charges for the fall semester will be required to be paid in full by the Student.
Withdrawal from the University. Students who withdraw from the University are no longer eligible to live in residence and must vacate their room within twenty-four (24) hours of withdrawing from their courses/program. Any student who withdraws must notify Housing & Conference Services, in writing, about their academic status. The withdrawing resident will be responsible for the remainder of their residence fees for that calendar month.
Withdrawal from the University. The Contract is a legal and binding obligation for the entire academic year. A resident who voluntarily withdraws from the University or who is being required to withdraw from the University for scholastic, financial, or medical reasons is liable for room fees prorated to the date of termination or the checkout date, whichever is later (see Section 6, Cancellation Policy).

For enrolled students, the prorated amount will continue to accrue until the date the student has both checked out with the Department of Housing and Residence Life and has officially withdrawn from the University. Students are financially responsible for the full housing contract costs after the 30th day of class. Students may be assessed a cancellation fee in accordance with Section VIII as applicable. If a student re-enrolls in the University during the period covered by the original housing contract, the student will be bound to the remainder of the contract.
Withdrawal from the University. If you withdraw from the University during the Contract term, you must: Contact the Registrar’s Office and withdraw from classes
Withdrawal from the University. In the event of a university departure, a proper residence hall or apartment checkout must occur to receive a prorated refund of housing and applicable meal charges. Failure to complete an appropriate checkout will result in the student remaining responsible for all applicable charges. There is no refund or credit for the housing fee upon unapproved withdrawal from the University. Furthermore, appropriate fees will be charged to those who check out improperly.
