Housing Fees. The student agrees to pay housing and board fees (first year students are required to have a first year meal plan and sophomores are required to have a sophomore meal plan) as established by the UCM Board of Governors. Rates are established at the level the Board of Governors, in its sole discretion, believes is required to meet current and long range expenses. Should the income from student occupancy be less than that required to meet such expenses, the University reserves the right to increase the established rate for the year by up to, but no more than 15% effective the spring semester.
a) Nonpayment of Housing Fees is grounds for immediate termination of this agreement.
Housing Fees. Once approved by the Board of Trustees, the 2018-2019 Housing Rates will be posted on the Campus Housing website. For the most up-to-date housing rates, check our website at xxxx://xxxxxxx.xxxx.xxx/residence-halls/index.php. Rates include fully furnished rooms, all utilities, laundry, IPTV access and high-speed wireless internet. Note: Should a student’s housing assignment change, rates will be prorated based on check-in and check-out dates.
Housing Fees. Housing fees are subject to the prior approval of the Board of Trustees of Institutions of Higher Learning. Student Housing reserves the right, with Board approval, to raise, lower, or modify its housing fees without prior notice to Resident, who must pay any assessed housing fees in accordance with the applicable payment schedule published by the University.
Housing Fees. A. Room Fees
i. Student must pay residence hall room fees according to a schedule of rates set each academic year by the University. Residence hall room fee rates for each academic year are subject to approval by the Board of Trustees. Proposed residence hall room fee rates may be accessed viathe web at xxxx://xxxxxxx.xxx.xxx/ .
ii. Full payment of Student’s residence hall room fees is not required at the time of accepting this Agreement. The charges for Student’s residence hall will be added to student’s University account and are payable when all other University fees are due.
iii. Student's acceptance of the room clearance form on the day of check-in establishes the acceptance of the condition of the Rented Premises and contents at the time of occupancy and, therefore, becomes the standard for the condition of the Rented Premises at the termination of occupancy. Student is liable for the condition of the Rented Premises furnishings that are assigned to him/her and shall reimburse University for all damage to or loss of these accommodations and furnishings, which is not the result of ordinary wear and tear. Studentsof an apartment/floor may also be required to share in the expense of repair or replacement of any property or cleaning in areas commonly used by the students. Housing shall assess charges against Student and he/she agrees to pay such damages to the University upon demand. Housing shall determine the amount of such loss or damage, selection of repair method, and scheduling of repair, at its sole discretion.
iv. Xxxx remain the property of the University and must be returned upon check-out. Failure to return keys shall result in charges to the student’s University account to cover the replacement of said property.
Housing Fees. In consideration of the use of the Unit for the Term, Student agrees to pay the Room fee published by the College.
Housing Fees. Returning students who wish to renew their housing Contract for the academic year 2018-2019 must pay the housing fees in full between May 8 and 15, 2018. Transfer and new incoming students who want to reside in XXX Residence Hall must pay a Housing Reservation Payment of $500 which will go towards the total fees. This payment which is non-refundable and non-transferable must be paid within 1 week of housing application submission The remaining balance of housing fees is payable with the tuition in September. Housing Fees a. This contract binds the Resident to pay housing fees according to University payment schedules for the full length of this contract. Housing fees are subject to final approval by the Board of Trustees of the Mississippi Institution of Higher Learning.
i. Residence Halls, Residential Colleges, and Northgate apartments— Housing fees are billed per semester prior to the start of each semester.
Housing Fees. (1) This Housing Contract binds a student to pay housing fees from the first day the residence halls open for a full academic year, both fall and spring semesters.
(2) Housing fees are assessed on a semester basis.
Housing Fees. In consideration of the use of the Unit for the Term, Student agrees to pay the Unit fees published by the College. Payment or payment arrangements must be completed by July 1 and December 1 for the Fall and Spring terms, respectively, before possession of a Unit is granted and to retain the guarantee of Unit selection or placement on a waiting list. Should the Student wish to cancel this Contract prior to the Fall semester, the Student may do so by contacting the Office of Residence Life, in writing, prior to June 15th with no financial penalty: Should the request to terminate the contract arrive, in writing, prior to June 15th, the housing deposit will be applied toward any charges remaining on the Student’s account or, should no charges remain, the housing deposit will be refunded to the Student after the add/drop period of the upcoming academic year. Should the request to terminate the contract arrive, in writing, after June 15th, the housing deposit will not be refunded to the Student. Once the Student occupies the Unit, the termination of this contract and refunding of monies due to extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on an individual basis by the Director of Residence Life or Designee and, if the termination is granted, will be consistent with the Tuition Refund policy as published in the Student Handbook. If the Student is separated from the College or from College housing for disciplinary reasons, no refunding of monies will be granted. If the Student desires to occupy the Unit for periods beyond the Term, Student shall pay such fees and execute such supplemental housing contracts as the College may require. Any such occupancy shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this Contract. The College has the right to terminate this Contract prior to the expiration of the Term in the event that a Student should violate any terms of this Contract or any policies of the College as found in the Code of Conduct and/or other College policies or documents. This Contract can also be terminated for any reason at the discretion of the College. College housing may also be denied based on past infractions of rules and regulations. Students who elect to live on campus are required to obtain a meal plan unless otherwise advised by the Office of Residence Life or Xxxx of Students Office. Certain restrictions and conditions apply.
