Common use of Work Schedule Change Clause in Contracts

Work Schedule Change. Where a work schedule change is made for a one (1) to four (4) day period, three (3) days notice shall be given. Where on the basis of bona fide reasons an emergency change is necessary, the Employee shall be notified before normal quitting time on the day previous to the change. Where the change is for a period of greater than four (4) days, the Employee shall be notified one (1) week previous to the change. Where the above notice is not given, overtime rates shall be paid for all hours worked on the first day of the change. Also see Letter of Understanding titled "Work Schedule Changes".
