Worked Holidays. Section 13.3 In the event an employee covered by this Agreement is required to work on any holiday, they shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½ ) their straight time rate of pay, exclusive of all premiums, in addition to their holiday pay if applicable. No employee shall be deemed to have been “required to work” on a holiday within the meaning of this Section if they are absent from work for any reason, including illness, on such holiday.
