XXXXX Y. The City Council shall continue the City Safety Program, which shall call for the appointment of an EMPLOYEE Safety Committee. This Committee, when formed under the provisions of the Safety Program, shall remain in effect for the full term of this agreement. The Safety Program shall involve an "accident review" process.

XXXXX Y. The County recognizes its obligation to provide a safe place of employment for its employees. To assist in accomplishing this goal, it is agreed that the County reserves the fight to adopt reasonable departmental rules and regulations, which become effective when posted. The County agreed to abide by all health and safety regulations as pertain to hospital environment. The Union agrees that it is the duty of all employees to comply with all reasonable rules and regulations and to be alert to all unsafe places, equipment conditions and to report any such unsafe practices or conditions to their immediate supervisor. The County and the Union shall establish a county-wide health and safety committee which will meet on a bi-monthly basis to review county safety records, policies and programs, and make recommendations for the resolution of health and safety issues brought before them by either the County or the Union. Each party shall furnish the other the agenda items they wish to discuss one (1) week prior to any scheduled meeting. The article is not subject to grievance procedure.
