Year of Eligibility Service. An Employee shall be credited with a Year of Eligibility Service when he is credited with at least 1,000 Hours of Service in the 12-month period beginning with the Employment Commencement Date and, if applicable, his Reemployment Commencement Date, either of which 12-month periods shall be the “Initial Eligibility Computation Period.” Whether or not an Employee is entitled to be credited with 1,000 Hours of Service during an Initial Eligibility Computation Period, such Employee shall be credited with a Year of Eligibility Service if he is credited with at least 1,000 Hours of Service during the Plan Year that includes the first anniversary of his Employment Commencement Date or Reemployment Commencement Date (whichever is applicable) or any Plan Year thereafter; provided, however, that an Employee who is credited with 1,000 Hours of Service in both the Initial Eligibility Computation Period and the Plan Year that includes the first anniversary of his Employment Commencement Date or Reemployment Commencement Date (whichever is applicable) shall be credited with two Years of Eligibility Service. For purposes of this Section, the termHour of Service” has the meaning set forth in Section 1.1(41)(b). Notwithstanding any other provision of the Plan to the contrary, (a) in the case of an Employee of Kaliburn, Inc., Years of Eligibility Service shall also include periods of employment with ITT Corporation prior to November 14, 2012, provided that such Employee was an “Employee” (as defined in the Plan) on November 14, 2012, (b) in the case of a Former Weartech Plan Participant, Years of Eligibility Service shall include any service credited for eligibility purposes under the Weartech Plan immediately prior to August 29, 2016, and (c) in the case of a Former Xxxxxx Plan Participant, Years of Eligibility Service shall include any service credited for eligibility purposes under the Xxxxxx Plan immediately prior to August 1, 2017.
Year of Eligibility Service. Notwithstanding the above, no Employee shall be eligible to become a Participant in the Plan or, in the case of a reemployed Employee, to recommence participation in the Plan on or after the Plan Freeze Date.

Year of Eligibility Service. Unless the Employer elects in the Adoption Agreement to credit service under the Elapsed Time method, a Year of Eligibility Service is an eligibility computation period during which an Employee completes at least 1,000 Hours of Service. For this purpose, the initial eligibility computation period shall be the twelve consecutive month period beginning with the day the Employee first performs an Hour of Service for the Employer. The succeeding twelve consecutive month periods shall commence on one of the two following days as elected by the Employer in the Adoption Agreement: (a) The first anniversary of the date the Employee first completes an Hour of Service for the Employer; or (b) The first day of each Plan Year beginning after the date on which the Employee first completes an Hour of Service for the Employer. If the Employer elects to credit service under the Elapsed Time method, see the definition of Elapsed Time for the applicable rules to calculate service.
Year of Eligibility Service. If an employee is not employed in Recognized Employment when the employee would otherwise be eligible to become a Participant, the employee shall become a Participant on the first date thereafter upon which the employee enters Recognized Employment.
