Insurance Coverage. At Leipzig University doctoral candidates can enrol as students at Leipzig University and therefore become doctoral students. Doctoral students of Leipzig University may be covered with an accident insurance in case an accident happens. An accident is only covered under such an insurance policy if it takes place within the organizational responsibility of Leipzig University and if it occurs at a time when the doctoral student undertook research or other relevant work in connection with his*her doctoral thesis and only if the requirements of the insurer are met, which is subject to the decision by ³8QIDOONDVVH 6DFKVHQ´ 6KRXOG WKHen t aGt LReFipzWigRUDO F University the doctoral candidate needs to seek insurance coverage against accidents by her-:himself. In general the doctoral student must provide any health care assistance at her:his own expense. Leipzig University requests all students being in possession of a health insurance valid for the whole time of studies at Leipzig University. Liability and accident insurances are highly recommended. No party shall be responsible to any other party for any indirect or consequential loss or similar damage such as, but not limited to, loss of profit, loss of revenue or loss of contracts, provided such damage was not caused by a wilful act or by a breach of confidentiality. Both Universities shall implement this Agreement in good faith. The parties to this Agreement shall settle all issues and disagreements as regards the interpretation and implementation of the agreement by negotiation between the supervisors and the coordinators. In the event of any dispute concerning this agreement the parties shall strive for an amicable settlement. Insurance Coverage. 1 Object insured, Extent and Scope of Insurance Coverage 1 The insurer grants insurance coverage for diseases, accidents and further occurrences mentioned in the contract. The insurer performs, if agreed upon, additional services in direct connec- tion with the events insured against occurring. In case of the event insured against (§ 1 n° 5), the insurer reimburses costs for medical treatment and other services agreed upon.
Insurance Coverage. 6.1 The rented motor home is insured in accordance with the applicable general conditions governing the motor vehicle insurance as follows:
a) Liability insurance to third parties (€ 100 million fixed price)
b) Indemnity according to the principles of a partially comprehensive and a fully comprehensive insurance with a deductible per claim in the amount of the agreement in the rental contract. This applies only if the conditions do not hold the renter responsible for the full liability (see paragraph 11).
6.2 It is recommended to take out a deductible insurance.
