Call Worked. (formerly “call back”) is defined as time “at work” following notice to 1 report to work from standby or call time status. If a nurse is already on duty at the time of 2 the notice and extends theirher shift as a result of the notice, it is not considered “call 3 worked." The nurse may not be required to remain more than is necessary. For OR & 4 PACU the nurse shall be compensated for a minimum of 3 hours even if not all 3 hours 5 are worked, and for all other nurses 4 hours even if not all 4 hours are worked. Call 6 worked shall be paid and administered in accordance with Legacy policy applicable to 7 similarly-situated non bargaining unit nurses. On Call nurses shall be paid the 8 applicable standby or surgical services call time rate when placed on standby or 9 surgical services call time for a shift. In addition when called in to work from standby or 10 surgical services call time they shall also be paid 1-1/2 times their normal hourly rate, 11 including the casual differential, and any applicable shift differential. On Call Nurses 12 assigned to the OR and PACU departments shall share standby/call time equally with 13 full and part-time Nurses, not to exceed two shifts per month for the OR and share 14 weekends for PACU.

  • Time Worked means time during which an employee is performing labor or services for the benefit of an employer, including all time s/he is suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so.

  • Hours worked means the time during which an employee is subject to the control of an employer, and includes all the time the employee is suffered or permitted to work, whether or not required to do so.
