Completed years of service definition

Completed years of service means the cumulative service an employee has in the bargaining unit, rounded to the lowest full completed year of service; e.g., 3.7 years of service equals 3 years of completed service.
Completed years of service means continuous service of the specified duration under the Institute and includes periods spent on duty as well as on deputation and extraordinary leave.
Completed years of service means the Participant’s completed continuous Years of Service as determined under and in accordance with the Bristow Group Inc. Employee Savings and Retirement Plan.

Examples of Completed years of service in a sentence

  • Completed years of service will be calculated based on 1,820 hours.

  • Completed years of service shall include all periods of employment by Columbia County unless there is a break in service or a leave of absence without pay.

  • Completed years of service will be counted regardless of the percentage of time of appointment.

  • Completed years of service for the purpose of this clause shall mean continuous service with Local Government together with any Long Service Leave balance at the time of redeployment/retraining/redundancy.

  • Amounts paid shall be as follows: Completed years of service as of July 1 Amount to be paid the following June 20-24 $300.00 25-29 $400.00 30 or more $500.00 The longevity set forth in this Section shall only be paid in the case where the employee has worked the full work year.


More Definitions of Completed years of service

Completed years of service means continuous service of specified duration in the Institute and includes period spent on duty as well as on leave including extra ordinary leave but will not include absence from duty, not specifically authorized by the Institute.
Completed years of service means continuous service of the specified duration under the University and includes periods spent on duty as well as on deputation with Government and leave including Extra-Ordinary Leave, unless otherwise provided.
Completed years of service means the number of full one-year periods that have transpired since the Employee’s original date of hire or, in the case of someone who has incurred a break in service as defined in the Ameriprise Financial Retirement Plan, the adjusted date of hire, through the Employee’s last day of active employment with the Company. The determination of Completed Years of Service will take into account years of service with American Express Company if and to the extent, and in accordance with, the provisions of the Employee Benefits Agreement by and between American Express Company and Ameriprise Financial, Inc., dated as of September 30, 2005 (the “Employee Benefits Agreement”).
