Employee Benefits Plan definition
Employee Benefits Plan means, and whether written or oral: (a) any plan, fund, agreement or program which provides health, medical, surgical, hospital, vision or dental care or other welfare benefits, or benefits in the event of sickness, accident or disability, or death benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs, or day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services; (b) any plan, fund, agreement or program which provides retirement income to Employees or results in a deferral of income by Employees for periods extending to the termination of covered employment or beyond; (c) any plan, fund, agreement, practice or program which provides severance, unemployment, vacation or fringe benefits (including dependent and health care accounts); (d) any incentive compensation plan, deferred compensation plan, stock option or stock‑based incentive or compensation plan, or stock purchase plan; (e) any other "employee pension benefit plan" (as defined in Section 3(2) of ERISA), any other "employee welfare benefit plan" (as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA); and (f) any other written or oral plan, agreement or arrangement involving direct or indirect compensation including insurance coverage, severance benefits, disability benefits, fringe benefits, pension or retirement plans, profit sharing, deferred compensation, bonuses (including any sale bonuses), stock options, stock purchase, phantom stock, stock appreciation or other forms of incentive compensation or post‑retirement compensation, as well as any change in control agreements, managing director agreements and other retention arrangements.
Employee Benefits Plan means a 401k plan, employee stock purchase program, deferred compensation program or similar programs from time to time maintained by Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries.
Employee Benefits Plan means any “employee benefit plan” as defined in Section 3(3) of ERISA, including without limitation, a 401k plan, employee stock purchase program, deferred compensation program or similar programs maintained by Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries within the past five years from the date hereof.
Examples of Employee Benefits Plan in a sentence
A dependent includes the employee’s spouse or adult dependent, as defined in the MUS Employee Benefits Plan, and financially dependent children as defined by the Internal Revenue Code who are unmarried and under age 25.
Whenever a husband and wife are both employed by MCPS and eligible to participate in the Employee Benefits Plan, each will have the option of being covered separately or being covered as a dependent on their spouse’s plans.
Casual and Temporary Employees are not entitled to participate in the Health Benefits Plan, except as provided in Article 27.02(c): Employee Benefits Plan.
It is the intention of SDIS to continue to maintain the Special Districts Insurance Services Employee Benefits Plan (the “Plan”) for the benefit of eligible employees of Member Groups, and in accordance with the provisions of the Oregon Insurance Code and other applicable laws pertaining to employee benefit plans.
The Executive shall have the right to change the beneficiary or beneficiaries from time to time whether before or after termination of employment; provided, however, that any change shall not become effective until an Election Form is received by the Employee Benefits Plan Administrator.
More Definitions of Employee Benefits Plan
Employee Benefits Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 5.15.
Employee Benefits Plan means any agreement, scheme, plan, custom or practice, concluded or existing at any level whatsoever (including within any establishment, undertaking, group or undertakings or branch), the object of which is to grant benefits, or to finance benefits or to contribute towards the financing of those benefits, to all or a category of Company employees and/or officers (and, where applicable, to their spouses and dependants), including benefits in relation to pensions, social welfare and employee savings (including profit sharing and savings plans);
Employee Benefits Plan means any bonus, deferred compensation, pension, profit-sharing, retirement, insurance, stock purchase, stock option or other fringe benefit plan, arrangement or practice, or any other employee benefit plan, whether formal or informal.
Employee Benefits Plan means any plan, program, policy, arrangement or contract, whether or not reduced to writing, and whether covering a single individual or a group of individuals, that is (i) an employee welfare benefit plan within the meaning of Section 3(1) of ERISA, (ii) an employee pension benefit plan within the meaning of Section 3(2) of ERISA, (iii) an equity bonus, equity purchase, equity option, restricted equity, equity appreciation right or similar equity-based plan or (iv) any other deferred-compensation, retirement, severance, health, welfare, post-employment welfare, retention, change in control, reimbursement, bonus, profit-sharing, incentive, fringe benefit, long- or short-term disability, vacation, sick time or other paid time-off plan, employment agreement, consulting or independent contractor agreement, offer letter, or any other benefit plan, program or arrangement other than any plan, program, policy, arrangement or contract mandated by applicable Laws.
Employee Benefits Plan means any health and welfare, defined contribution, defined benefit, or other employee (or retiree) compensation or benefit plan, arrangement or agreement (including (i) any “employee benefit plan” as defined in Section 3(3) of ERISA, or (ii) any savings, retirement, fringe benefit, stock option, bonus, incentive compensation, deferred compensation, excess or supplemental executive compensation, employee stock purchase, vacation, sickness, disability, severance or separation, restricted stock plan, policy or arrangement).

Employee Benefits Plan shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 3(3) of ERISA and shall also mean and, include any other bonus, profit sharing, compensation, pension, severance, deferred compensation, fringe benefit, insurance, welfare, medical, post-retirement welfare benefit, medical reimbursement, health, life, stock option, stock purchase, tuition refund, service award, company care, scholarship, relocation, disability, accident, sick pay, sick leave, vacation, termination, individual employment, executive compensation, incentive bonus, commission, payroll practices, retention or other plan, agreement, policy, trust fund or arrangement maintained, sponsored or contributed to by the Company, any of its Subsidiaries or an ERISA Affiliate.
