Equivalent Maintenance Outage Hours definition

Equivalent Maintenance Outage Hours means the total number of equivalent hours in a Period that represents the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a Unit in order to perform necessary repairs on specific components of the Unit.

Equivalent Maintenance Outage Hours expressed in hours, in any Contract Year shall be equal to the sum, for each hour of Maintenance Outage during the Contract Year, multiplied by a fraction, the numerator of which is the reduction in generating capability of the Facility (from the Dependable Capacity) during the relevant hour of such Maintenance Outage and the denominator of which is the Dependable Capacity in effect during such hour;

  • Generator Maintenance Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit in order to perform necessary repairs on specific components of the facility, if removal of the facility meets the guidelines specified in the PJM Manuals.
