Escrow Investments definition

Escrow Investments means, at any time, (1) United States dollars; (2) securities issued or directly and fully guaranteed or insured by the United States government or any agency or instrumentality thereof having maturities of not later than November 11, 2011; and (3) securities representing an interest or interests in AAA rated money market funds registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended.
Escrow Investments means direct obligations of, or obligations the principal of and the interest on which are unconditionally guaranteed by, the United States of America.
Escrow Investments means any of the following securities:

Examples of Escrow Investments in a sentence

  • You agree that none of the funds that are invested in or through this Account, or that are sought for investment in this Account, constitute either Proceeds of Municipal Securities or Municipal Escrow Investments (both defined below).

  • Permitted Escrow Investments are pledged exclusively to the repayment of the Program Bonds unless and until there is a default under the Complete Indenture, in which case such funds will be applied as required by the Complete Indenture.

  • The Escrow Agent shall not be liable for any loss resulting from any investment made pursuant to this Agreement in compliance with the provisions hereof or from the sale of any Eligible Escrow Investments required by the terms hereof or any shortfall in the value of the Escrowed Property that might result therefrom.

  • The Escrow Agent will invest the Escrowed Funds in such Eligible Escrow Investments as the Company may from time to time direct in writing in accordance with the terms of the Escrow Agreement.

  • If the Authority invests any Gross Proceeds of the Obligations in a Guaranteed Investment Contract or purchases with Gross Proceeds Yield Restricted Defeasance Escrow Investments, it will conduct, or will have conducted on its behalf, a Bona Fide Solicitation.

Escrow Investments means Investments on deposit in the Escrow Account or credited thereto.
Escrow Investments means any of the following obligations or securities:
Escrow Investments means (i) Treasury Securities (as defined below), (ii) investments in time deposit accounts, certificates of deposit and money market deposits, in each case maturing no later than July 11, 2007 (the “Escrow Outside Date”), entitled to U.S. Federal deposit insurance for the full amount thereof or issued by a bank (within the meaning of Section 3(a)(2) of the Securities Act of 1933, as interpreted by the staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission) or trust company (including the Escrow Agent or an affiliate of the Escrow Agent) which is organized under the laws of the United States of America or any State thereof having capital, surplus and undivided profits aggregating in excess of $500,000,000, (iii) investments in commercial paper maturing no later than the Escrow Outside Date and having, at the date of acquisition, a credit rating no lower than A-1 from Standard & Poor’s Rating Service, P-1 from Mxxxx’x Investors Service, Inc., or F-1 from Fitch Ratings Ltd. and (iv) repurchase obligations maturing no later than the Escrow Outside Date entered into with a nationally recognized broker-dealer, with respect to which the purchased securities are obligations issued or guaranteed by the United States of America or any agency thereof, which repurchase obligations shall be entered into pursuant to written agreements.
Escrow Investments means the Government Securities, purchased with proceeds of the Series 2021B Bonds in connection with the refunding of the Refunded Bonds and deposited hereunder, as more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto.

Escrow Investments means all of the following securities (and described in any written instructions delivered to the Escrow Agent by the Issuer): (i) U.S. Government Obligations (as defined below), (ii) investments in deposit accounts, certificates of deposit and money market deposits entitled to U.S. Federal deposit insurance or issued by a bank or trust company (including the Escrow Agent or an affiliate of the Escrow Agent) that is organized under the laws of the United States of America or any State thereof having capital, surplus and undivided profits aggregating in excess of $500,000,000, (iii) investments in commercial paper maturing no later than May 12, 2016 (the “Outside Date”), and having, at the date of acquisition, a credit rating no lower than A-1 from Standard & Poor’s Rating Service (“S&P”), P-1 from Xxxxx’x Investors Service, Inc. (“Moody’s”) or F-1 from Fitch Ratings Ltd., (iv) repurchase obligations maturing no later than the Outside Date entered into with a nationally recognized broker-dealer, with respect to which the purchased securities are obligations issued or guaranteed by the United States government or any agency thereof, which repurchase obligations shall be entered into pursuant to written agreements and (v) money market mutual funds that invest in items (i) through (iv) above and may include certain municipal securities so long as such funds are registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission under the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, and operated in accordance with Rule 2a-7 and that at the time of such investment are rated Aaa by Moody’s and/or AAA by S&P, including such funds for which the Trustee or an affiliate provides investment advice or other services.
