Examples of Ex officio members in a sentence
Ex officio members of standing committees shall be entitled to be present at all meetings of their respective committees and to participate in committee discussions, but shall not be entitled to vote or be counted for quorum purposes.
Ex officio members of the Board of Directors shall be permitted to attend meetings of the Board of Directors but shall not be entitled to vote on any matter before the Board of Directors and shall not be considered to be directors of the Corporation for any other purpose, including without limitation, for establishing a quorum, acting by written consent or providing notice of meetings.
Ex officio members may participate fully in the deliberations, but have no vote.
Ex officio members shall receive all rights of membership but are not obligated to be present at committee meetings and shall therefore not be counted in the quorum of the meeting unless they are present.
