Fee Waiver definition

Fee Waiver means a waiver of tuition fees granted, or to be granted, in circumstances where this Contract or the Guidelines About Fees specify that the Training Provider must not charge a tuition fee, or where the Department otherwise directs that a tuition fee must not be charged, to a Skills First Student. Fee Waiver Contribution means the contribution to be paid by the Department to the Training Provider when the Training Provider grants a Fee Waiver to a Skills First Student, as detailed in Clauses 11.7 and 11.8 of Schedule 1 of this Contract. Foundation Skills Approved Provider List means a list of training providers approved by the Department to receive funds for delivery of Foundation Skills Programs.

Fee Waiver as used in this Article means a program that waives or reduces tuition fees for employees as listed below: The following fees shall be fully waived for employees: ▪ Application Fee ▪ Professional Program Fee ▪ Health Services Fee ▪ Identification Card Fee (if mandatory) ▪ Instructionally Related Activity Fee The following fees shall be reduced to one dollar ($1.00) for employees: ▪ Associated Student Body Fee ▪ University Union Fee ▪ Health Facilities Fee All other Category I and II fees as defined in Executive Order 1054, except the doctoral program fee and the Non-Resident Tuition Fee shall be waived for employees. The State University Tuition Fee shall be waived for employees for the units of courses taken in the fee waiver program. Employees taking CSU courses in addition to the CSU fee waiver courses shall pay the difference between the full State University Fee and the part-time State University Fee. A participating Unit 4 employee enrolled in a doctoral program shall be eligible for a partial fee waiver equivalent to the part-time Graduate Tuition Fee, and shall be responsible for paying the difference between the applicable Doctorate Fee and the part-time Graduate Tuition Fee.

Fee Waiver means long-term waiver of fee payment when the substantial hardship causing an inability to pay is highly unlikely to change during the period of supervision.

• Evidence of Fee Concession/ Fee Waiver audit If an Evidence of Fee Concession/Fee Waiver audit reveals that you do not have sufficient documentation to demonstrate you have correctly assessed a Skills First Student’s entitlement to receive a Fee Concession or Fee Waiver (in accordance with this Contract, including Clause 5 of this Schedule 1), and you have claimed Funds for that individual (exception) then we may take action under Clause 16 (Enforcement) of this Contract.
