Grant Employee definition

Grant Employee means a person who is hired to work on a specific project until completion of that project or for a specific period of time as determined by the grant from a third party. Grant monies shall not be used to displace employees covered by this Agreement nor shall such monies be used to create redundancy of positions in the bargaining unit. A grant employee is not included in this Agreement.
Grant Employee an employee who works for a specified period of time and is paid with grant funds.
Grant Employee means any non-contractual individual employed by the Town under the auspices of a grant.

Examples of Grant Employee in a sentence

  • Where a Full-Time Grant Employee is terminated other than for cause, they shall only be entitled to termination and severance pay in accordance with the Employment Standards Act (Ontario).

  • An Employment Grant Employee is defined as an employee who is hired on a temporary basis by means of an externally secured government or other employment grant.

More Definitions of Grant Employee

Grant Employee means a person employed by the Corporation under the provisions of a program which provides 50% funding for the grant employee's wages.
Grant Employee means a term employee who works on a project funded by a grant to the Organization. Grant employees are included in the bargaining unit and are covered by this Collective Agreement with respect to non-monetary items only.
Grant Employee means employees hired under wage restricted grants.
