Interconnection Facilities Study definition
Interconnection Facilities Study. Agreement shall mean the form of agreement contained in Appendix 4 of the Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures for conducting the Interconnection Facilities Study. Interconnection Feasibility Study shall mean a preliminary evaluation of the system impact and cost of interconnecting the Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System, the scope of which is described in Section 30.6 of the Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures.
Interconnection Facilities Study means a study conducted by a utility for the customer-generator that determines the additional or upgraded distribution system facilities, the cost of those facilities, and the time schedule required to interconnect the net metering facility to the utility's distribution system.

Interconnection Study shall mean any of the following studies: the Optional Interconnection Feasibility Study, the, Interconnection System Reliability Impact Study, and the Interconnection Facilities Study described in the Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures.

To the extent that design work is necessary in addition to that already accomplished in the Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study for the Interconnection Customer, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall perform or cause to be performed such work.
Notwithstanding Section 30.11.1, at the request of the Developer the ISO and Connecting Transmission Owner shall begin negotiations with the Developer concerning the LGIA and its appendices at any time after the Developer executes the Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study Agreement.

The ISO shall coordinate the Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study with the Connecting Transmission Owner and Affected Transmission Owners, and with any other Affected System pursuant to Section 30.3.5 above.

Interconnection Facilities Study means a study conducted by a Public Utility or a third-party consultant retained by the Public Utility or the Applicant that determines the additional Interconnection Facilities and System Upgrades required to interconnect the Small Generator Facility to the Public Utility’s TDS, the cost of the facilities and upgrades, and the time required to complete the interconnection.
Interconnection Facilities Study. Agreement shall mean the form of agreement contained in Appendix 4 of the LGIPe Standard Large Generator Interconnection Procedures for conducting the Interconnection Facilities Study.
Interconnection Facilities Study means a study conducted by NYISO or a third party consultant for the Interconnection Customer to determine a list of facilities (including Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities and System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades as identified in the Interconnection System Reliability Impact Study), the cost of those facilities, and the time required to interconnect the Large Generating Facility or Merchant Transmission Facility with the New York State Transmission System. The scope of the study is defined in Section 8 of the Standard Large Facility Interconnection Procedures.

Interconnection Request shall not include a request to interconnect a Qualifying Facility (as defined by the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act, as amended by the Energy Policy Act of 2005 and the regulations thereto), where the Qualifying Facility’s owner intent is to sell 100% of the Qualifying Facility’s output to its interconnected electric utility. Interconnection Service shall mean the service provided by the System Operator, and the Interconnecting Transmission Owner, associated with interconnecting the Interconnection Customer’s Generating Facility to the Administered Transmission System and enabling the receipt of electric energy capability and/or capacity capability from the Generating Facility at the Point of Interconnection, pursuant to the terms of the SGIA and, if applicable, the Tariff. Interconnection Facilities Study means a detailed study conducted by the EDC or a third-party consultant to identify a list of Interconnection Facilities and System Upgrades required to address Adverse System Impacts (as identified in the Interconnection System Impact Study), the cost of those facilities, and the time required to interconnect the Small Generator Facility with the EDC’s T&D System.
