Neglected Landscaping. We do inspect all properties. If you are not maintaining your landscaping, you will receive a notice from Landlord/Agent. If the problem stated in the notice is not corrected, a landscaper will be hired at your expense to correct issues, or in severe cases, you may be asked to move. RENTAL AGREEMENT ADDENDUM Law Property Management INSURANCE Insurance responsibilities between Owner, Landlord/Agent and Tenant are only done according to State Legislation and the courts. The owner of the property you are renting, does not insure Tenant’s personal property. If you live in a condominium, the homeowner’s association does not insure your personal property. Generally, except under special circumstances, the Owner or Owner’s Agent is not legally responsible for losses to the Tenant’s personal property or for temporary housing in the event the property becomes uninhabitable due to fire or flood. Tenant agrees to accept financial responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property of Tenants and their guests and invitees caused by theft, fire or any other cause. Tenant agrees to save and hold Owner and Agent harmless from any claim for damages to Tenant’s personal property arising from any cause, including leakage from breaking pipes, loss of perishable foods or cost of fire extinguishing efforts. Tenant shall indemnify Owner and Agent from liability arising from personal injuries or property damage caused by Tenants, their guests and invitees.   • Landscaping means the treatment of land (other than buildings) being the site or part of the site in respect of which this planning permission is granted, for the purpose of enhancing or protecting the amenities of the site and the area in which it is situated and includes screening by fences, walls or other means of enclosure; measures to screen the refuse provision; planting of trees, hedges, shrubs or grass; formation of banks, terraces or other earth works, laying out of gardens, paved areas or courts and other amenity features.

  • Landscape means an area, as perceived by people, whose character is the result of the action and interaction of natural and/or human factors;

  • Landscaped area means all the planting areas, turf areas, and water features in a landscape design plan subject to the Maximum Applied Water Allowance and Estimated Applied Water Use calculations. The landscaped area does not include footprints of buildings or structures, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, decks, patios, gravel or stone walks, other pervious or non-pervious hardscapes, and other non-irrigated areas designated for non-development (e.g., open spaces and existing native vegetation).

  • Landscape waste means any vegetable or plant waste except garbage. The term includes trees, tree trimmings, branches, stumps, brush, weeds, leaves, grass, shrubbery, and yard trimmings.

  • Cleaning means the act of removing septage or other wastes from a wastewater treatment system component or grease/waste from a grease interceptor.

  • Repair means to restore to proper operating condition a tank, pipe, spill prevention equipment, overfill prevention equipment, corrosion protection equipment, release detection equipment or other UST system component that has caused a release of product from the UST system or has failed to function properly.

  • Shrub means and refer to a woody plant, smaller than a tree, consisting of several small stems from the ground or small branches near the ground.

  • Public building and "public work" means a public building of, and a public work of, a governmental entity (the United States; the District of Columbia; commonwealths, territories, and minor outlying islands of the United States; State and local governments; and multi-State, regional, or interstate entities which have governmental functions). These buildings and works may include, without limitation, bridges, dams, plants, highways, parkways, streets, subways, tunnels, sewers, mains, power lines, pumping stations, heavy generators, railways, airports, terminals, docks, piers, wharves, ways, lighthouses, buoys, jetties, breakwaters, levees, and canals, and the construction, alteration, maintenance, or repair of such buildings and works.

  • Sidewalk means that portion of a street between the curb lines, or the lateral lines of a roadway, and the adjacent property lines intended for the use of pedestrians.

  • Landscape architect means a person who holds a license to practice landscape architecture in the state of California Business and Professions Code, Section 5615.

  • Pavement means any type of improved surface that is within the public right-of-way and that is paved or otherwise constructed with bituminous, concrete, aggregate, or gravel.

  • Repairs means the repairs to be made to the Mortgaged Property, as described on the Repair Schedule of Work (Exhibit C) or as otherwise required by Lender in accordance with this Loan Agreement.

  • Building Project means the aggregate combined parcel of land on a portion of which are the improvements of which the Premises form a part, with all the improvements thereon, said improvements being a part of the block and lot for tax purposes which are applicable to the aforesaid land.

  • Tenant’s Property means Removable Installations and, other than Installations, any personal property or equipment of Tenant that may be removed without material damage to the Premises, and (z) “Installations” means all property of any kind paid for by Landlord, all Alterations, all fixtures, and all partitions, hardware, built-in machinery, built-in casework and cabinets and other similar additions, equipment, property and improvements built into the Premises so as to become an integral part of the Premises, including, without limitation, fume hoods which penetrate the roof or plenum area, built-in cold rooms, built-in warm rooms, walk-in cold rooms, walk-in warm rooms, deionized water systems, glass washing equipment, autoclaves, chillers, built-in plumbing, electrical and mechanical equipment and systems, and any power generator and transfer switch.
