Ontario Works definition

Ontario Works placements will not result in the lay off of Bargaining Unit members nor will it lessen the regularly scheduled hours of work for Bargaining Unit members.
Ontario Works means the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services financial and employment assistance programs governed under the Ontario Works Act, 1997.
