Preconstruction Phase definition

Preconstruction Phase means the period that begins on the date of this CM/GC Contract and ends upon commencement ofthe Construction Phase; provided that if Owner and the CM/GC agree, the Construction Phase may commence before the Preconstruction Phase is completed, in which case both phases shall proceed concurrently, subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents.
Preconstruction Phase means the period following the award of a contract to a design-build entity for a progressive design-build project in which the design-build entity completes design activities and any preconstruction activities necessary to produce a guaranteed maximum price.
Preconstruction Phase means the Work done by the Construction Manager in the management and definition of the project prior to the awarding of construction contracts for any bidding package.

More Definitions of Preconstruction Phase

Preconstruction Phase means the time period starting on Effective Date of the MOU until the date of commencement of Construction Phase of the Project under which the Company is obliged to implement preconstruction activities, but no later than the term of Preconstruction Phase defined by the Annex 3 of the MOU unless otherwise provided herein or agreed by the Principal Parties.
