Preconstruction Activities. (a) On or before October 15, 2005, Tenant shall submit the following information and items to Landlord for Landlord's review and approval:
(i) a detailed construction schedule containing the major components of the Work and the time required for each, including the scheduled commencement date of construction of the Work, milestone dates and the estimated date of completion of construction;
(ii) an itemized statement of the estimated construction cost, including permits and architectural and engineering fees;
(iii) evidence reasonably satisfactory to Landlord of Tenant's ability to pay the cost of the Work as and when payments become due. Such evidence shall be in the form of an unconditional written commitment from a responsible lender to pay for the Work or evidence of current net assets in the form of cash, cash equivalents or other liquid assets of Tenant which have been and will continue to be segregated for payment of the Work when due;
(iv) the names and addresses of Tenant's contractors (and the contractors' subcontractors) to be engaged by Tenant for the Work ("Tenant's Contractors"). Landlord has the right to approve or disapprove Tenant's Major Contractors (as defined below), which approval will not be unreasonably withheld or delayed. Tenant shall not employ as Tenant's Contractors any persons or entities disapproved by Landlord. If Landlord has affirmatively approved only certain contractor(s) and/or subcontractor(s) from Tenant's Major Contractor list, Tenant shall employ as Tenant's Major Contractors only those persons or entities so approved. Landlord may, at its election, designate a list of approved Major Contractors (at least three (3) designees for each category): "Major Contractors" means Tenant's General Contractor and the contractors performing work relating to the electrical, mechanical, plumbing and life-safety systems;
Preconstruction Activities. 5.1 Partnering
5.1.1 The formation of a cohesive, mutually beneficial partnering arrangement among the Contractor, the Contracting Authority, the A/E, and the Owner will accomplish the construction of the Project most effectively and efficiently. This arrangement draws on their collective strengths, skills, and knowledge to achieve a Project of the intended quality, within budget, and on schedule. To achieve that objective, participation in a partnering session is required for the following key stakeholders:
Preconstruction Activities. Upon UTH’s determination to recommend award of the Contract, the RCM and/or the PM will contact the A/E to request that they begin preparations for construction start. Such activities will include:
1. Assist the RCM in scheduling, coordinating, and administrating a pre-mobilization meeting with the Contractor(s) and the Campus representatives when necessary for mobilization of the site in advance of a formal Notice to Proceed. Distribute notes.
Preconstruction Activities a. Consultant shall prepare the agenda for and lead the preconstruction meeting. Consultant shall coordinate with the Contractor regarding items to be submitted at the preconstruction meeting. Consultant shall also prepare a preliminary submittal list, and provide this list to the Contractor at the meeting.
Preconstruction Activities. (a) Prior to commencement of any Work, Tenant shall submit the following information and items to Landlord for Landlord's review and written approval, as specified below, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed:
(i) an itemized statement of the estimated construction cost, including permits and architectural and engineering fees and consultant costs;
(ii) the names and addresses of all of Tenant's consultants, contractors (and the contractors' subcontractors) to be engaged by Tenant for the Work ("Tenant's Contractors). Xxxxxxxx has the right of approval of Xxxxxx's General Contractor, and has given its approval for X.X. X'Xxxxx, Inc. X.X. X'Xxxxx shall employ persons or entities as subcontractors or consultants in its discretion, and
(iii) Certificates of Insurance as hereinafter described. Tenant shall not permit Tenant's Contractors to commence work until the required insurance has been obtained and certificates reasonably satisfactory to Landlord have been delivered to Landlord. Tenant will update such information and items by written notice to Landlord of any intended changes, and said changes shall not take place without prior written Landlord approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.
(b) As used herein the term "Plans" shall mean full and detailed architectural and engineering plans and specifications covering the Work (including, without limitation, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, life safety, fire protection and plumbing working drawings for the Tandem Workletter Workltr.5 October 2, 1996
Preconstruction Activities. Deliverables: The Grantee will complete the design of the new WWTP and obtain all necessary permits for construction of the project. Activities necessary for design, such as surveys, geotechnical evaluations, and environmental assessments, are eligible under this task. Documentation: The Grantee will submit a signed summary of activities completed for the period of work covered in the payment request, including the percentage of design complete and permitting status, using the format provided by the Department’s Grant Manager. For the final documentation, the Grantee will also submit a copy of the design completed with the funding provided for this task, a list of all required permits identifying issue dates and issuing authorities, and copies of any surveys, assessments, or other documents funded under this task. Upon request by the Department’s Grant Manager, the Grantee will provide additional supporting documentation relating to this task.
Preconstruction Activities. Upon OFPC’s determination to recommend award of the Contract, the RCM and/or the PM will contact the A/E to request that they begin preparations for construction start. Such activities will include:
1. Assist the RCM in scheduling, coordinating, and administrating a pre-mobilization meeting with the Contractor(s) and the Campus representatives when necessary for mobilization of the site in advance of a formal Notice to Proceed. Distribute notes.
2. Assist the RCM in scheduling and making arrangements for a Preconstruction Conference and a Partnering Workshop to be held prior to actual start of work at the site. Coordinate A/E and GC activities related to the Conference and the Workshop.
3. Prepare a handout brochure for the Preconstruction Conference. An example brochure with general instructions will be provided to the A/E by the RCM or PM. In general, the A/E’s responsibility for the brochure includes providing: * Cover page with Project Title & Number, Conference Title, and Date. * Project Directory including key members of all construction phase teams. * Photocopy of Special Conditions from Bid Documents * Photocopy of Specification Section 01 31 00 from Bid Documents * A/E Administrative Plan for the Construction Phase of the project. * A/E sample forms for Contractor’s submission of Project Submittals, RFIs, etc. * A/E sample logs for tracking of submittals, RFIs, changes, etc. * A/E list of anticipated submittals. and arranging, duplicating, and binding those with the following items provided by OFPC, to make approximately 30 brochure copies: * The "Table of Contents" to be used for the brochure. * The "Agenda" for the Conference, to be included in the brochure. * Supplemental text regarding "Partnering". * Supplemental text regarding "Project Meetings". * Supplemental text regarding "Inspections and System start-up". * Supplemental text regarding the "HUB" Program. * OFPC Brochure Enclosures (sample forms and flow diagrams) with list identifying each * Other items which may be provided or requested.
Preconstruction Activities. Within thirty (30) Days after execution of this Agreement, the Design-Builder shall submit to the Owner for review a detailed schedule of preconstruction activities, by expanding the preconstruction activities set forth on the Schedule. This preconstruction schedule shall be prepared using the CPM, and shall show in sufficient detail the starting and completion time sequences of design, permitting and construction activities of the Design-Builder, and identify all interface activities of the Owner.
Preconstruction Activities. Deliverables: The Grantee will complete a feasibility analysis and design of the Cooper City SW 00 Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx Rehabilitation/Replacement, perform bidding and contractor selection, and obtain all necessary permits for construction of the project.
Preconstruction Activities. Deliverables: The Grantee will complete a feasibility analysis and design of the Xxxxxx City SW 49 Street Culvert Rehabilitation/Replacement, perform bidding and contractor selection, and obtain all necessary permits for construction of the project.
