Redundancy Costs definition
Redundancy Costs means payments in lieu of notice, statutory redundancy costs, any enhanced redundancy pay, unfair dismissal liability and any other payments agreed to be paid pursuant to a Compromise Agreement;
Redundancy Costs the total sum of any of the following sums paid to Applicable Supplier Personnel, each amount apportioned between the Supplier and the Authority based on the time spent by such employee on the Services as a proportion of the total Service duration: any statutory redundancy payment; and in respect of an employee who was a Transferring Former Supplier Employee or a Transferring Authority Employee, any contractual redundancy payment (or where such a contractual benefit on redundancy is a benefit payable from a pension scheme, the increase in cost to the Supplier as a net present value compared to the benefit payable on termination of employment without redundancy), provided that such employee was entitled to such contractual redundancy payment immediately prior to his or her transfer to the Supplier under the Employment Regulations;
Redundancy Costs means statutory redundancy payments, contractual redundancy payments and contractual notice pay payable to the Secondees. Regulated Activity: means in relation to children as defined in Part 1 of schedule 4, and in relation to Vulnerable Adults as defined in paragraph 7(1) of schedule 4, of the SVGA.
Examples of Redundancy Costs in a sentence
The Authority shall not be liable under this Schedule for any costs associated with Supplier Personnel (whether relating to redundancy, redeployment or otherwise) other than the Redundancy Costs.
Redundancy Costs include statutory redundancy pay and, for any employee who transferred to the Supplier, contractual redundancy pay based on the terms which transferred (both elements apportioned by reference to the duration of the contract which had elapsed at the date of the termination).

(3) any pension scheme related costs, for such Transferring Employee, provided that such Transferring Employee is dismissed solely on grounds of redundancy (within the meaning of section 139 Employment Rights Act 1996) and provided that the Service Provider has not amended, so as to be more favourable to such Transferring Employee, any terms related to redundancy, but excluding:
(4) any payments made pursuant to a settlement or compromise agreement; and
(5) any payments ordered to be paid by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction in respect of any breach of the Transferring Employee's rights, including without limitation any payments or awards made in respect of unfair dismissal, unlawful discrimination and/or failure to inform and consult.
Redundancy Costs means an Employee’s entitlement to a statutory redundancy payment and/or an enhanced redundancy payment (if applicable) in relation only to an enhanced redundancy scheme in place as at the Commencement Date and the costs of a payment in lieu of notice or notice pay and for the avoidance of doubt shall exclude any other costs whatsoever or discretionary payments; Regional Transport Partnership means any such partnership created by the Scottish Ministers pursuant to the Transport (Scotland) ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇;
Redundancy Costs means all payments that the Station Purchaser or Third Party Service Provider is obliged to pay to any Transferring Employee on the termination of their employment on the grounds of redundancy, whether under (i) section 135 of the Employment Rights ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, (ii) the Transferring Employee’s contractual entitlement in place at the relevant Transfer Time or (iii) in accordance with a discretionary policy applied by BE in respect of the last set of redundancies prior to that Transfer Time which would have applied to the transferring Employee as of the Transfer Time.
